Me me me!
Saying that my first two iron sets didn't have a 4 iron so didn't really ditch it, my Takomo's came with a 4 iron and did give it a go but didn't stick/see the point.
My main staples in the top end of my bag right now are Driver, 5 Wood ('ancient' Callaway Mavrik) and Srixon Z U85 2 Iron. I've also got a 3 wood that rarely sees the light of day and a 7 wood (Callaway Paradym) that I love but when carrying I favour the 5 wood really and use that as a space to drop a club/save weight as they're kinda close.
I'm not sure I'd reccomend the 2 iron really, it is a 'driving iron' style so actually not that hard to hit but you do need some swing speed, when I first got it I was a lot slower (and I'm still pretty slow) so it really just didn't work, now though I can get it to carry a good 170-180 ish depending on strike and it's got a lovely low ball flight for those windy days. It's doable off the deck, for me probably more successful off the deck than a 3 wood, but it's more of a tee club really most of the time.
5 Wood though, love that thing, everyone should have one
I keep meaning to look at replacing it tbh, mostly cause as mentioned it's very close to the 7 wood really, I dunno if a newer/shinier 5 wood would have that bit more speed to seperate the two or whether I should go something like a 4 wood. But it works so why change

I've had it ~3.5 years now, and barely been playing golf for 4, so it's like 600+ rounds old at this point and by far the 'oldest' club in the bag. There is a wear mark on the shaft so I guess when it breaks that'll force me to get a new one
