good cider?

Just not a fan of British ciders, Ive tried a few and I've yet to find any with a nice enough taste. Mind you I drink for taste not for its percentage value or roughness which I find in most British ciders. Closest I've found so far is the Bellhaven versions but they are beaten by the Swedish stuff.

Look what turned up in the post today. Cost = 3 bottle tops and a stamp. :D

This, although half 'n half with Thatchers rough.

I'll drink pretty much any cider to be honest, though I once have a foul organic cider at Frocester beer festival the once! :D

Minchews do some good stuff, and pretty much anything from Westons. Severn ciders and badgers bottom cider ain't too bad either. :)

Back in the day (nigh on 20 years ago now!) 1080 cider was a firm favourite.

I like Kopparberg, however it's a bit expensive.

I had a Sainsbury's Blackcurrant cider recently (which is just re branded Thatchers) and it was awesome!

However, now I just make my own come payday I'll have a raspberry and a blackcurrant Cider on the go :)

No, no it doesn't :(.

Bulmers, Magners, Strongbow, etc. are all horrible tasting 'pub brands', designed to appeal to the 18 year old binger rather than the cider enthusiast.

I've been a cider man all my life, I'll quite happily drink Strongbow and being 18 years old is a long way back in my past. Surprised to see snobbery from a "cider enthusiast" to be honest. In a city centre pub you take what you get, luckily where I live I'm also blessed with pubs who do actually serve plenty of local stuff :)
