Google Chrome

I really like the simple interface and general speed that is runs at, seems stable too. What I miss most is the multitude of ff plugin such as better gmail, rtm, mouse gestures, firebug etc. When extensions such as these start appearing I may seriously consider switching but for the time being I'll be largely sticking with ff3.

Beats IE7 into a cocked hat mind, not that that's hard. Be good if it takes some of IE's market share, which I think it has a reasonable chance of doing as google is probably better known than microsoft.

Anyone remember when microsoft said that IE development was ceasing at v6?

which is why Mozilla should be applauded for their efforts at improving the browsing market as a whole.

Just downloaded Chrome a few minutes ago.

Very nice indeed. Very minimalistic and pages seem to load lightening fast for me. Just needs some decent plugins to go with it - and when it does, I'll be switching to it in a heartbeat.

I really like this option,

But is there a option/plug-in for Firefox to have this function ?

yes like this

all in the same homepage line

Is there a plugin for FF that makes a page similar to the chromes hompage style? i.e. most visited in clickable? boxes? If not, i might just use chrome a bit more till I find out what my most visited truly are, then just make my own html page with set boxes that does it for me ad use that as my homepage until chrome gets plugins.

Have to say having used Google Chrome for the past 4-5 hours I'm liking it a lot. There are lots of things that are missing (middle click scroll, firefox like plugins, skins etc) but I'm sure they'll come in time.

From my usage I've found it to be very quick - just need to see how it progresses!

hmm really liking it but a few things not liking atm.

when closing last tab this closes the browser, the upload file box used that stupid button which typically is unchangeable resulting in a nasty looking button that doesn't match any other used on page, no home button though i guess opening a new tab does this just prefer to use curent tab to go to home page.

other then that loving the speed and how simple it is
