Google employees given Google Nexus

What is the administration fee?
The fee for business customers is £10 or 2% of the total duty/VAT incurred, whichever is the greater. The growth of Internet shopping has led us to introduce a different administration fee for private individuals. This is because net shoppers are usually buying infrequently and purchasing low cost items such as CDs, DVDs or software. We felt that low usage such as this merited a different fee structure. We charge £1.25, or 2% of the total duty/VAT incurred, whichever is the greater. This compares very favourably with our competitors and we are, as far as we are aware, the only air express carrier who has introduced a special rate for private individuals.

Thats just for business account holder right?

No one has mentioned on any of the andriod forums about an admin charge thats even after the vat bill come!

Hmm it does say 2% of VAT and duty or £1.25 whichever is greater.

I haven't imported anything as a non business transaction for a while , anyway we'll find out soon enough!

HDLN are only taking over UK Domestic services aren't they, not DHL Express?

Domestic means "in UK".

DHL will only be operating freight and international hubs.

Its the same thing they said when they sold up in the states, "we will still do this, that and the other".
They dont, they fly the stuff in and UPS deliver it all.

Ok well lets hope the service still remains the same - DHL are by far the best international courier at the moment.

Phones should be arriving to East Midlands by 12! I don't think i have ever refreshed a tracking page so much. Right now i have an iphone and a HD2 on my desk. Iphone is being sold for £150 (2g) and the HD2 is on the bay.

New iPhone will still beat any phone I think

Are you 12? What do you mean by "beat"?

I have a 3G S and I'm seriously considering exchanging it for a Nexus. It may well have a slghtly less fluid interface but I resent owning a phone that's locked down so tightly - it's like they (The Church of Jobs) think I'm special and wouldn't able to handle a small amount customisation.
