who is delivering it? and do the post-office still charge a customs fee collection charge?
DHL and they dont charge an admin fee
DHL charge a £10 admin fee.
What is the administration fee?
The fee for business customers is £10 or 2% of the total duty/VAT incurred, whichever is the greater. The growth of Internet shopping has led us to introduce a different administration fee for private individuals. This is because net shoppers are usually buying infrequently and purchasing low cost items such as CDs, DVDs or software. We felt that low usage such as this merited a different fee structure. We charge £1.25, or 2% of the total duty/VAT incurred, whichever is the greater. This compares very favourably with our competitors and we are, as far as we are aware, the only air express carrier who has introduced a special rate for private individuals.
DHL and they dont charge an admin fee
DHL dont exist in this country anymore as such.
They are owned by the home delivery network, and all their vans have to be white and HDLN branded by the end of the year.
HDLN are only taking over UK Domestic services aren't they, not DHL Express?
HDNL dont own DHL....
Domestic means "in UK".
DHL will only be operating freight and international hubs.
Its the same thing they said when they sold up in the states, "we will still do this, that and the other".
They dont, they fly the stuff in and UPS deliver it all.
Calm down?Go read the news fact boy
Calm down?
