Well I've managed to go this far with only unlocking the bootloader & removing encryption. But the time has come to start flashing some ROMS yay for PA!

I tried PA yesterday. DOesnt really offer much over stock or stock with some flashable zips.

Tried Chroma, CM12, LiquidRom but I always come back to stock because it just feels more fluid and just that bit snappier.

Maybe in a few months when things are ironed out but i think stock is the best there is at the moment and with people like ModoCa now releasing flashable zips to improve it stock just gets better.

Not sure if im having trouble with my phone or not

It doesn't feel very fast, can't quite put my finger on it, but it seems a bit sluggish. Coming in and out of the camera for example.

also, when taking photos of the kids I constantly miss shots as the time it takes the camera to focus and take the shot is terrible.

Wife has an iphone (sigh) and hers take photos the instant she presses the button

any ideas?

Ugh. That focus issue still exists on the Nexus 6 then? I hate that on my Nexus 5. If I record a video and its out of focus my phone makes no attempt to re-focus until I stop recording.

yeah, it's a pain

I read a forum where lots of people were raving about L Camera. Tried it, and it's worse than the google one in both focus, quality and time to take the shot

Because it is just stock at the moment with some added tweaks. Things will come sooner or later.

Had no problems with smoothness exactly the same as stock, Battery life for me is improved though.

I've gone with a soft image for now. The N6 screen is so damn good, it shows up any imperfections in images.

do you choose Euro or £ when buying this using a credit card?

No idea. Not sure there was a choice ? I haven't bought it myself but have it in my cart. I assume you just pay and then you get charged euros and have to pay at your bank's rate. XE.com makes it £398 with delivery but I assume it might be a little more depending on FX charges

That is a good deal! I was just going to ask if anyone knows if you can get the 64gb version (any colour) on contact anywhere? Trying to do the maths and I think it'll work out cheaper that way with the mins/data I want

Since Motorola have no stock of the 64GB White left they have offered me a refund... Gah!

Really liked the phone (apart from the battery expanding) so I've told them ill wait a week or 2 and see if they manage to get stock.

Quite poor for such a big company.

I asked this in the email, they will probably give a rough indication tomorrow of when they expect stock. Hopefully...

Reason I ask is because at the moment until the 18th IIRC, if you spend over £500 you get £75 off, so might be worth getting a refund and then re-buying if stock arrives before then?

Oh!

I'll check this out thanks for the tip, I might try my luck and suggest that they refund the £75 as compensation. Its been a near 3 week wait so far for a replacement phone :(
