Need to give this Franco a go ;)

Last night Ive found out that N6 can be charged by wireless chargers and battery packs from Nokia :) (930 is my work phone)

Had battery pack on my desk last night and just placed N6 on it and it made a sound :) charging ! Have two chargers so one can be for nexus now :)

Doesn't seem too bad. Mine overnight on idle is around 0.3-0.5% an hour. Just got greenify to hibernate a few things.

I don't exactly know how but my standby time is much improved and as it should be. The first 2 weeks it was held awake more than I'd like.

4.5 hrs SOT is a solid average that I can on this phone now.

I have 2 small issues though:

1. When a superuser promt comes up, the pop-up is unresponsive and I can't press grant.

2. When I sideload an APK, the install button doesn't register (cancel does), it does after a while but only randomly.

2 weird issues.

I'm having issues with my One plus one so have been looking at the LG G3, Xperia and this.

I was all set on this until I've just read about a few issues. The forced encryption ( I can't really be bothered messing with bootloaders) The average battery ( brilliant on OPO) and the back cover separating.

Anyone here had the back cover separating issue?

No back cover issues here on the 3 I've had :)

Also, see the MM, I'm selling a new 64GB model with encryption turned off and bootloader still locked etc.... also with the latest 5.1, no messing needed :)

Edit: I average just over 5hrs SOT with my usage.

Done a few tweaks on the FK kernel. Drop 25mV on all cpu States and tweaked the white balance as it was a bit on the yellow side. I'm on the d6500 setting with a little boost in saturation. 246 to be exact.

Ambient display back on too as the double tap is a bit flakey.

Love this phone.

Got my Nexus 6 about two weeks ago. Only started using it on Friday as it took longer to port my number from Vodafone to EE than I would have liked.

First impressions are that this phone is brilliant. It feels so thin and flat, I think because of how much wider than my Nexus 5 it is.

The Nexus 6 also seems quite reluctant to use up battery power, which is nice! :) Charging it is amazing. It's been on charge for about 40 minutes now and has gone from 18% to 65% charge in that time!!!:D:cool:

Best case screnario for me...

On WiFi, good signal area and low brightness. Light usage...messaging, email, browsing YouTube etc.

I have the plus but I am looking for something different so I ordered a S6 edge. Not swapped everything over yet so not sure what the battery will be like. But I'm interested in trying the other side.

What I will suggest is trying an Android device with pure Android, i.e. no skin. Makes a world of difference IMO.

This is my logic too. However, being an iPhone inert, I like things such as the Touch ID. Samsung are now on par with their offerings. I'd hate to go back to pin entry.

So, the best of both worlds is the S6 and for a bit of added beauty, the Edge.

The S6 is a great phone no doubt, a massive improvement over previous gens.

If you can get on with their skin then it's a win.

I'll be approaching TW from a blank canvas, so far so good. I'm also getting used to launchers. However, there are a couple of things that are stopping me switching fully; like iMessage etc.

My friend has just bought the N6, I'm just to see him next week, looking forward to seeing one in the flesh rather Han a store plastic dummy.

how ?
im pure stock and never went over 4h....

facebook , android OS , messenger then google play services are ones after screen in eating battery...

lol I dont have Facebook, only time I see battery not as stellar as usual is when I`m in marginal signal area, but even then I would get well over 4 hours, prob over 5.

I got my N6 on friday, impressed with speed over my OPO. Seems good quality and has a nice feel to it.

I wanted to do a battery comparison so I charged it friday overnight until 8am. its stil going with 19% and 3h46m screen time.

wifi usage seems quite high at 13%.

So its pretty good but not as good as my OPO which seems to last forever.

I miss some other features of the OPO like the close all apps button and the flashlight gesture, but i assume i could flash a CM build to my nexus and get those features back.

The increase in size wasnt so big over my OPO either but my Supcase case added a lot to the width to the phone.

Im getting mithered to put the 5.01 ipdate on. I've not done as yet. Is this a no brainer?

cheers
