5.1 update? Then yes, it's a great update.

Also there's many tweaks to aid batterylife.

Disable all apps that you don't use
Wifi setting - turn of 'scanning always available' and public network notification
Turn off NFC
Location setting to power saving
etc etc.

The OPO had good batterylife on KK. Its dropped under LP.

Turn your phone off, it will last even longer.

Have had my phone since January and it was rooted since then, about a week ago I unrooted it due to battery issues and resorted to 5.1. Now with it being unrooted I'm getting sound issues which I never had before. If I play MK X the sound glitches and it sounds like its in 8bit sound.

Anyone else had this issue?

Hi guys,

I have my photos set to automatically backup to the fluffy stuff in the sky using 'Google+ Auto Backup' which works fine. However it notifies me to say "These are ready to share" - quite frankly I don't care! lol. Is there anyway to disable this specific notification?

TIA :)
Jake

yes... you do it in the google + app, somewhere in settings and notifications

Loves you long time! ;)

That notification was getting quite annoying. Yes Google, you've backed my photos up for me. Thank you SO much for telling me this. :D

Google+ - Choose your account - Settings (3 dots) then choose the account again () then choose Notifications. It's the "Photos added from Auto-Backup" option you need in the Photos sub-section.

Thank you as well. Was one of these things that has been annoying me but I've not remembered to look into. So this tip just saved me a job.

:)

Today I actually turned off the vibrate for all notifications as the vibrate is so powerful on this thing it wasn't only annoying me, but my colleagues as well! :D

Oops!

Facebook has been a battery killer for me since day 1, I can't stop it unless I remove the app, which I don't want to do as I run a couple of groups on there so use it a lot. Very annoying though.

SOT is currently just over 2 hours.

I have started to dislike the stock photos app. I copied over 3gb of pics from my old phone and even though it's on the phone when out and about the photos app seems to retrieve them from the cloud and not the device. Using quick PIC as my default photo app fully now.

Does the nexus 6 come with a wireless charger? If not what are you guys using?

Anyone using one in the car plugged into a lighter/usb socket?

It doesn't come with one no. I wouldn't recommenced one either, they are slow as hell.

There is a fast car charger (wired) - search iVoler Adaptive Fast Turbo Rapid Qualcomm Port

That sucks. I thought wireless charging would be really convenient as I could just throw the phone in the centre console and would charge

That is similar to what I found, but just with photo's I've taken with the phone. Go to show someone a picture and I'm not within decent wi-fi can be quite embarising.
