Hi Nexus Six users !

I have the Nexus 5 & thinking of getting a N6. I see a few have bought from the rain forest fr (french site) ! Can anyone enlighten me to the pros & cons please ?

Need a Euro to UK adapter, slightly more hassle if you need to return it, though potential savings are worth it, have a look on Amazon Spain, they've just reduced the cost again, probably now cheaper than the France site?
 
Thank you ! I'll check that out... What's with the sending ? I take it comes from Spain/France & you pay the postage ! Anyone been stung for import tax ?

Any recommendations on repair? The screen itself works, but I assume you have to do the screen with the glass?
 
5hit Andy. What happeed ? I guess a whole new screen is the best bet. Splitting glass and LCD is a ball ache.

Call Google if you purchased direct see if they can help. If not call moto. Maybe eBay for screen ?
 
Dropped it on concrete, plain and simple. Annoyingly, I stuck a leg out sideways, it bounced off my ankle, so I thought I'd taken enough velocity off it, but no :(

Had to check, I got mine from Clove, so will try and contact LG. I see 3rd party repairs are around £220...
 
Yeah, I know this much, quite common these days I think. The Nexus 6 isn't listed on LG's site. Do Google do official repairs? You would think one of them should.
 
£135 on eBay. But moto may fix it officially for that sort of money. You never know if you say it was such a small drop they may even do it cheaper.

Anyway if you do it yourself make a video mate :) be interesting to see and I am sure will get a few hits

I've used an eBay one for my first ever cracked screen, what a nightmare. All positive comments, 10 days later when I got my disaster back there were 7 negative comments :( Too late...

**EDIT** £135 is for the screen if I do it myself I see? Not sure I would trust myself (see below)

Not phone insurance, I did wonder about checking how much it would cost on Home insurance if it's up over £200.

Contacted Moto online, they can't quote me but have e-mailed me how to send back to them. I have a number to call in the morning to hopefully get an idea of price.

It does annoy me when they say things like 'We don't know how much it will cost until we see the damage...' Forget that, tell me how much to put a new screen on my phone!
