I appreciate Jimlad has bought his Nexus 6 from a carrier (Voda) ---due to frustration of not being able to get it directly---but I believe we diehard Nexus fans think the only pure experience can be had from a purchase on the GPS. At least with Voda however, they are not pre-loading carrier bloatware as our cousins in the US are finding with AT&T. This link shows TMob US and Sprint getting high marks with AT & T getting low marks. And despite assurances, the Nexus 6 has yet to appear at Verizon or US Cellular (first time they are selling an unlocked device).

what phone are you on now out of interest?

Currently sporting the beautiful and deluxe HTC Sensation!:D

Have about £550/600 in cash now to buy a sim free handset but not sure on what to get? Was going for the Nexus 6 but a lot of the reports put me off, and with CPW involved as well, I got a refund. I may have kept the order if it was through GPS but that's a wash out at the moment :( Its the poor brightness levels and lagging that are putting me off atm.

Not sure there are any really decent phones out there right now, and any potential decent new ones are months away and I can't wait that long, need a phone now :)

I'm in pretty much the same boat mate, so many imcomplete and dull phones over the last 24 months it hurts.

You really ought to give the Nexus 6 a go for yourself, for me it's the best handset I've seen for a while with it having the things I want. Just the size is a little big but I'm sure I'll learn to love it.

This is a great review and worth a watch

Just ordered a 32gb Blue! Hopefully will get it before Chirstmas. Would have preferred 64gb. But looking at my One Plus One I hardly use the storage. I stream most of my music these days and 32gb would be plenty for photos.

A few guys on XDA saying they just ordered on GPS and got the dispatch date of 24th December...

If, big big if, Amazon and GPS stick to their dates then Amazon will be quicker...especially when you consider the time of year, a package dispatched on thee 24th will take a few days more.

Assuming Amazon are still working to their 15th (?) December date that is...

Another well handled launch for a Nexus device -_-

If GPS put up the 64gb version now I would cancel CPW and order with them.....alas....
