I think the camera specs I linked to is an outdated leak now.Still find the thermometer totally pointless as just to read body temp.
Temp sensor, I'd take it or leave it. No big deal. Another tool at my disposal.

This indeed seems to be the latest specs
Very interested in this. Thinking of switching back from an iPhone 13 Pro to a pixel 8 (maybe pro if it's not too big).
Has anyone switched from iOS to android recently? How was it?
Things you will probably miss.
- Universal back button
- Notifications being presented logically and easy to triage.
- The speed of Android animations and scrolling.
- Notification Icons / a cleaner AOD implementation
- Putting icons/widgets anywhere you want
- The half swipe up to screenshot/select text/split screen.
- Individual volume controls.
- A clipboard
Things you'll appreciate in Apple land.
- Ecosystem, Apple stuff works really well together
- Beasty A-series chips
- Excellent first party support/accessory options
- Consistent App UI implementations, more polish in some apps.
- FaceID
- A chip that doesn't get hot and a solid modem.
- a Phone that doesn't tank in value.
If the camera is the same as the pixel 7 pro, then I can't really see the update from 7 to 8.
Especially as I don't need my phone to be 'faster' then a pixel 7.
Many times recently.
Both are very mature platforms. Apple stuff works really well with other Apple stuff. If you have a blend of devices that benefit is diminished. There’s a level of polish in iOS apps that isn’t quite there on Android.
Here is a post in another thread I did talking about going from Android to iOS.
The spec sheet in that leak says GN1 which was why I asked.
Or is it a case of the internet being the internet as usual? Lol

On this page https://www.androidauthority.com/google-pixel-8-camera-leak-3333575/ it says
the Samsung ISOCELL GN1 sensor makes way for the ISOCELL GN2. This brings a few improvements: first, the sensor is larger and should capture about 35% more light than its predecessor for brighter low-light images and faster shutter speeds to reduce blur.
Just noticed the pro price has remained the same!
I'm hoping GREAT, so soon after the iPhone 15 launchWonder what pre-order bonuses they will do this year.
