Google Pixel 8/8 Pro & Pixel Watch 2

Hi all,

I've had my P8 Pro since launch and pretty much decided I'm skipping the P9 this year as the phone is still fantastic - does anyone have a case they could recommend? My Spigen Liquid Air is looking a bit tatty after 10 months of use.

TIA

What do you mean by tatty, dirty or damaged?

Most of these type of cases look the same to me and seeing as you have one of the better ones, can you not just clean/wash it.

given the offers floating around would this be a worthy replacement to the 1st gen xperia 1? Phone still works fine (well bar the fingerprint sensor which was a bit junk on this) but kind of liking the idea of a device with better update support.

Yes well worth the discounted price.

What's lacking on your Xperia

nothing major feature wise its a solid bit of hardware, just no security updates since Oct '21, Android 11, and battery is starting to get on the meh side of useful (wasn't its strong point to begin with). Wifi calling/VoLTE also bricked when I moved away from O2 even though it shouldn't have.

Lets be honest, I've had it since launch and these are excuses for a new(er) shiny that isn't completely obscenely priced.

Are the Spigen cases the best choice? I got a 8a from the post @mithrandir made.

There's so many though. I see Tough Armor, Rugged Armor, Ultra Hybrid and Liquid Air.

I like Spiggen cases, and have had a few on previous phones. I had the Tough Armor on an old Galaxy phone and it was good, but also kind of bulky. As the P8Pro is already a big, heavy phone I went for the Rugged Armor this time, which is a bit slimmer and lighter. It seems up to their usual quality, feels pretty nice to hold and looks good to IMO.

Tough Armor looks good as well, though, if you don't mind the slight extra heft. As the 8a is a fair bit smaller than the Pro it might not even be an issue, tbf.
