It would be great if all high end headphones just supported LDAC.I managed to work around it on the S24 using a USB C Bluetooth dongle, but it was irritating having to remember the thing. I'm using a pair of Bowers and Wilkins Px8s.

Surely you wouldn't get a shipping email till Tuesday when it's actually been dispatched for next day delivery?Still no shipping date from EE on the Fold. Starting to think it’s not going to arrive on launch day…

The Vodafone deal is probably better than this if you are opting for a 9 Pro XL and can live with 300GB of data. Trading in my S23 FE I've ended up paying £10 up front and £26 per month for 24 months. So my ee business deal offer on the 9 Pro Fold is offering significantly enhanced trade-ins.
Only applied as discounted rental so not cash back.
24 months for 9 Pro Fold (shipped to store by Friday)
Unlimited everything inc uncapped full speed data
£60 upfront then @£45pm inc VAT x24m
S23 Ultra is giving trade-in of £31pm discount (Pixel 8 trade-in is £27pm discount btw).
This is the business essentials plan.
If you qualify, that's some deal.
For a Pixel 9 Pro XL with same package and trade in its £30 upfront and £33.60pm inc VAT x24m
Just Google phones though with such hefty discounts. If I went for an S24 Ultra it's £60pm x 24 with same parameters. Galaxy Z Fold6 is £78pm.
They are saying ship to store by Friday for me and in stock. Whilst that's ee business it's reasonable to assume retail stock available and shipping this week.

I have 5G Ultra as an extra under my plan so assume it's the full speed? Those 300gb tariffs have capped speeds don't they?

EDIT: I've just done a quick speed test to check and one came out at around 10Mbps and the other two were around 12/13Mbps so I don't think it's capped. There is no mention of the speed being capped in any of my documentation. This is at my workplace which doesn't have amazing coverage and is 4G.
According to the chap in EE, if I don't put my name down right now for the Pro Fold I won't get one until Summer 2025 because "That's just how it works with Google phones"
Talk about commission pressure from management
guys anyone had any issues with Bluetooth on the pixel 9 ?
i run four or fives times a week and phone lives in my left hand pocket of my running shorts, i get minor disconnects or 'blips' on both my Buds and Buds Pro a couple of times each run, it used to do the same on my pixel 5, but was fine on the pixel 7 & 8, feels like the exact same issue i had with the Pixel 5 a few years back.
minor but irritating,
Did he have an iPhone in his pocket?
Are the new series defaulting to a higher bit rate codec? I remember with my Sony WF earphones, if I set the codec to LDAC (via the Sony app, but it was a confusing setting as I would need to enable the codec first in the phone's developer setting), I would get the occasional blip in connection. There was an option to prioritse stability, I can't remember if that just used a different codec or meant using a lower bit rate but still LDAC.
I don't have a 9 series or the Pixel Buds so I don't know how to enable them to prioritse stability, if that is even an option.
