I got my email today too. I assume it'll be Monday or Tuesday before it arrives?

Not sure how to to do a video for it. Maybe I can cast it to my TV while using it? I don't know the connection would be quick enough for it to display very well?

When I first got my Gear VR, I did around a 15 minute video, a vast portion was me wearing it and talking about what was going on. I was really surprised that people liked the video!
 
I would imagine we might have 'International' versions. Maybe there's a country somewhere in Europe that needs something slightly different?
 
As I think about it, I don't get warnings turning my headphones up to full volume. I think that's an EU thing, right? Maybe we should be on the EU ROM, but I'm certainly not complaining...

I had Google Cardboard and enjoyed the experience very much. I was in the Google Store within a store at Currys on Tottenham Court Road the other day and tried it out and found it more impressive than Cardboard.

By the way there was a huge crowd in the store and many were trying out Daydream at a dedicated section within their Store. What the viewer saw in their Daydream viewer was cast up on a screen for others to enjoy.

Will read some more reviews before considering purchase.

Went for the Moon and earth space one.

Backgrounds are good, although there are too many 'galaxy' pictures and so the icons can seem lost in the all the colours :p

Looks great though, hidden button is a useful feature too

After I'd used my Gear VR, I couldn't bear to use Cardboard as it was comparatively terrible.

I look forward to Daydream, I assume with the amazing sensor in the Pixel (seen in camera stabilisation) it will be as sharp as the Gear VR.
 
Purchased an XL. Got an S7 edge currently but never really was enthralled by it but I'm not sure why. Looking forward to a core Android experience.
 
My Slickwraps arrived today.


I think I've put to much heat onto it though, I think I've loosen some of the glue inside. Is this possible? Now when I tap around the top of the phone, I can hear a tiny vibration. Does anyone else have this? I don't think I noticed it before.

I bought through CPW, so I assume I would have to go through them for a return?
 
Does anyone think the Pixel will be included in Black Friday deals? Need a new phone now that my Nexus 4 has died and I'm set on the Pixel. CPW have an offer on which expires tomorrow, but not sure if I should hold fire until Black Friday or dive in now?

I'll also have to move from 3 to EE. If the signal in my house isn't any good, can I return it?
 
CPW customer service say I can walk in and exchange for a new device. I call CPW, they confirm I can exchange but don't have the XL in stock and then say mine will need to be sent away to see if they can repair. So... not an exchange then?

I contact customer service again and they confirm again I can exchange. I mailed back to check what's the situation when they don't have the phone in stock. Awaiting a reply. Will call a CPW store again today and ask the same thing.

I don't mind sending it away, I have my Note 5 still, but with my Daydream VR in transit, I want to at least have a play with that before the Pixel goes... (if I can't exchange)
