Ive just unlocked the Blutooth on my Stadia pad with the new tool and its working great. I was using it wired for Apex Legends and now its perfect for me, great controller.

I just found about this yesterday. Apparently pretty easy so yes i cant see why you cant just buy a controller and unlock it. You dont have to log in or anything as far as i can tell.

I played a few games last night to say farewell.

Shame really sometimes i thought i was the only one who thought it was really really good. Perfect for my casual play.

I enjoyed Stadia. But I spent very little money on the platform because I always assumed Google would kill it, and that I would in turn lose access to my purchases.

And I expect that's the jist of the problem; the bulk of their target audience thought the same way. I do still wonder what could have happened if they'd moved to a subscription model. The bulk of my Stadia playtime was with Ubisoft+ titles...

Definitely going to have a play on the deck with it tbh

If anyone has a spare controller they don't want any more I'd be happy to take it, prices in eBay seem to have risen. I'll try in a few weeks when the hype has died down

Managed to get a second hand controller for £17.95, it came today and is basically new and unused

I would have like one of the navy blue ones instead of white but they fetch double the price

I converted it to Bluetooth straight away and it works great and feels like a solid well made controller

Strangely you can only use Chrome or Edge browser to activate Bluetooth mode not Firefox?

Just a reminder for anyone out there with a stadia controller that you only have until the end of this month to unlock it and switch to Bluetooth mode.
