How long did it take to come after you pressed the order button?

If I was to say order it right now would it arrive by Friday do you reckon?
 
The Protune feature was released as a firmware update for Hero2 not long ago. While the flat colour profile and greater data rate are useful, you take a huge hit on recording space.

It's on pre-order still in the UK. Not for release until 29th November

I ordered it from the US website on the 22nd October. But it wasn't released until the 14th November. It arrived on the 16th, not bad delivery time to be honest :D.

EDIT: The US site now has a expected release date of the 30th November so no chance of it arriving for this Friday
 
That's an awesome price. Can't help but think Evans must be loosing money on this deal...

Have told my friend who is after a black edition. Unfortunately I couldn't wait until the end of December as I needed it for when I go away on holiday on the 5th.

Don't mind paying the extra £30 to get it now :)

I have found a cheaper price £252 with a good exchange rate from the US. That includes delivery, but you may get stung at customs, so the Evans is a safer bet for sure.

I'd noticed the bit about cameras in the terms and conditions too, so no doubt they may cancel them.

Also remember that this is just pre-ordering, they won't even have stock anytime soon. A user on another forum is an action camera supplier and apparently the demand has been so big in the US for the Hero3 that the stock which was supposed to be allocated to Madison, who are the UK distributor has been put back. They can't tell their suppliers yet when the Hero3 will be available in the UK.

I think something is seriously messed up, I can't find a single product on their website, they would appear to have no stock of anything!
