I can confirm that the Club 3D CAC-2868 works flawlessly. Basically just get a cable which advertises 8K 60 if you want to OC to 160Hz. No DP handshake errors for me, love the monitor.

Where can I get the firmware to OC to 160 and how do you install it?

Despite what you may think dropping down to 1440p looks good on this monitor. Not as good as 4K but as good as any native 1440p monitor.
Yeah, that’s from the TFT review I was refering too. But maybe we could have an opinion of an OC user.
Yep I concur, I wasn’t making it up in the TFTCentral reviewNo it’s my quote from post #455 in this thread. I was referring to my own experience of the monitor at 1440p

Very good performance at 1440p from the scaler on this screen
Just got this cable from the rainforest, initial testing so far seems good I've not been getting DP handshake failures.Club3D VESA certified CAC-2868 is the one I have from the rainforest - works flawlessly.

So, thought I'd let Windows do its pesky update thing last night. Monitor turned black when PC restarted... presumed it was an update issue and that the PC was the problem - flipped the switch at the wall with a view to tackling in the morning after a nice cold boot. This morning, after the better part of an hour troubleshooting it turned out the monitor had just decided to crap out! OSD was working but wasn't giving any other warnings or obvious signs of issue other than just a black screen and it only started working again after pulling the plug on the monitor!
Seriously miffed! My old LG ultrawide exhibited the same behaviour and for the longest time I thought it was the PC playing up. Has anyone else experienced the same and is there a cure? I'm not particularly overjoyed at the idea of 'reaching around' to unplug the blasted thing routinely esp at this price point.
