** GORGEOUS NEW LG 4K MONITOR - LG 27GN950-B PRE-ORDER NOW **

Aint gonna lie guys cyberpunk 2077 looks mint on this monitor (ultra RTX settings)

Yeah, absolutely mind blowing. Running at 4K with max settings.

What settings are you guys using? I found the best visuals and gameplay on my Tuf 3080 are actually playing at 1440p with RTX Ultra settings and DLSS set to quality. The game by default out of the box set DLSS to Ultra Performance which renders at 720p and upscales, which was looking slightly less spectacular. Hardware Unboxed also have a good round up of various settings up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U0Ay8rMdFAg

Sorry if this is going off topic a bit :)

Use the ultra rtx preset then remove lens flair, film grain & motion blur

Set dlss to balanced

Looks good and nets me about 55fps

I can't get LG UltraGear Control Center to work. It says to connect USB cable to PC and monitor. I used the one that's supplied with it, but it just won't work. Any suggestions?

Edit: Also, how do I turn on HDR when watching an HDR movie? Does it turn on automatically?

Edit 2: The white has some weird yellow tint I've been trying to get rid of for more than an hour. Unsuccessfully... Can some of you share your settings? Maybe it will help.

So I’ve had 3 of these monitors now - the first one was replaced as it developed 3 bright areas in the bottom right corner. It wasn’t light bleed or glow - it almost looked like the edge leds strips became visible. My current one seems to have the same - about 1cm bright from the edge bottom right corner, a normal brightness gap and then another 1cm bright area. Is this normal I.e are others seeing this? You can see it more on Eizo monitor test - brighter colours show it more. Or am I just unlucky - and either have to live with it or return and go with ‘another’ replacement or a different brand altogether....

Don't suppose anyone is using this for photo editing? If so, have you noticed a difference in 10 bit mode with dsc on? I'm tempted to leave it at 95Hz, as realistically eve in older games I doubt I'll see 144Hz.
I don’t think you’d see any difference tbh, but if you’re never going to reach more than 95Hz that’s a viable option if you want

I've received just now the monitor. Very excited with the color accuracy and response, but there's something worrying me: when I'm in the desktop, I perceive subtle changes in bright, as if the monitor was adjusting bright on its own. Is this a feature I was not aware of, or it's just how the monitor works? It's very much distracting...

I reckon having read this issue in this thread, but I'm not able to find it. :(

I feel like it should have been mentioned in reviews or pinned somewhere lol.

I didn't even unbox the stand, just straight onto a vesa arm. It's pretty solid once it's on there.

Is there a way to disable the white flashing RGB cycling every single time you wake up the monitor from sleep? I thought it only happened when you turned off the monitor. :S

I think you have to use the LG control centre software to do that.

It is annoying getting flashbanged by RGB everytime you turn on the pc haha

I have disabled every single option in LG control software but I'm afraid it still does it. Does it only annoy me?

Also, every time the display sleeps, the Windows USB plug-in chord sounds. I have the USB monitor cable plugged but i find it weird.
