Yeah man, sorry guys, until I had confirmation on how short supply would be after Brexit I had to keep it open.

Just hopefully I kept everyone aware hoe short supply would be one this one so no one is too disappointed.

We have some real exciting monitors coming out from LG over Q1/Q2 so don't be too disappointed. This is a great monitor but we'll have others for people to get hold of real soon!
 
I've been following this thread for a couple of months not wanting to pre-order due to the wait most of you have had to endure. Glad I didn't as just managed to snag one from another site that wasn't taking pre-orders, still stock at time of writing this out of stock now.

For the exact same monitor? I was under the impression that only 3 UK based retailers were stocking this monitor and none have had shipments today from what I can see.
Can you PM me the retailer?

Sorry, just checked again and it's out of stock now. Wow, they went quick, but if OCUK was getting half of them that's not surprising. (Yes exact same monitor)
 
Would Overclockers be able to provide us an idea of what number we are in the queue? Would like to know this personally so I can understand if I should continue to wait or look for an alternative options
 
I ordered on 03/01/21 blindly expecting preorder to be satisfied on date website advertised. I spoke to Sam at customer services few days ago (before I'd discovered this forum thread) who echo'ed @NiktheSTNIK 's comments. 'How long is piece of string.' Team are doing everything they can to get as many units to satisfy orders. He informed me preorder option was taken off website when they hit 250 paid preorders. Also mentioned current data he saw suggested no shipments expected before March - but quickly followed up that isn't concrete and that isn't his job so doesnt know how it works.

Had the monitor for over a month now and generally pretty happy with it. Feels slightly criminal that I've had HDR off for the last week though but im 'trying again'...
A few annoying quirks and the alt tab issue is one of them. I tried the link above but it made no difference for me.

I do have the issue where it goes to sleep completely when I walk away but I never have to press a button for it to turn back on or anything - I just get the RGB flashbang and then its back to normal. ;)

Same for me, Alt tab issue still there, definitly related to the monitor itself. For the "go to sleep" I have to switch it on again to have it back, very wierd as I deactivated the automatic sleep mode feature
 
When I pre ordered my monitor site stated more stock arriving 31st Jan, any news on this, can't find anything anywhere on latest shipment update

I'm afraid there is no ETA on file for this product at this time.
If you would like to amend or cancel the order with this in mind, please let us know.

Have been eying the LG since July last year. Stupidly bottled out of buying one a couple of times. Can’t see me getting a new monitor which matches my required specs for some time yet.
 
I’ve had mine since October 6th 2020. Just can’t get hold of an 6800 XT to do it justice. Mine was from the first batch ocUK received. There was about 50 to 60 preorders back then much more now I gather.
 
Sounds like this monitor is being discontinued in March and replaced by the 27GP950 (similar monitor but with hdmi2.1) in April - it might be one of the reasons for low stock at the moment. February is the last restock of this monitor according to LG on Twitter - good luck folks!!
