US: Gotham (US spoilers)

Is anyone else disappointed that Penguin killed his step-brother and step-sister off-screen? I certainly would have loved to see his step-sister again.

The touch of feeding them both to their mother was pretty dark though. :)

The girlfriend already sussed this. She dubbed them both Hansel and Gretel. I myself had no idea he was feeding his step-mum her kids. But you gotta love Penguin for being so evil.
 
Still can not stand the Bruce kid. Always found batman a dull character but this actor is poor. And much the same with Jim, although he's also rather unlikable too.

But Penguin and Nygma are very good I think.
 
AZREAL!

Alright it'll have nothing to do with the version of the character I like, but still it's nice of them to move away from the handful of stock characters that seem to be used every Batman show.

I would have preferred The Joker or maybe even Bane... The sacred order has never been interesting to me. Gotta Say Mr Freeze looked great in the suit, although a helmet would have been loads better :)
 
They cannot have the Joker as DC will not license a usage at the moment. I read somewhere that they refused due to the new movie coming out or something like that.
 
I always watch Gotham expecting it to be abit rubbish but always come away pleasantly suprised. I can't believe how much I enjoy the Mini Batman and Catwoman story arc!
 
TBH, it's gotten absolutely ridiculous now it's totally off the rails but it makes for decent viewing.

I can't wait for next season when, if the current trajectories of characters hold true Jim Gordon beats the other half of the Bat's rogues while Batman is still a whiny kid, forms the Justice League and pimp slaps Darkseid.
 
Its based on a cartoon allegedly. As a pioneer of the 1989 cinema release I'm willing to authenticate it as fairly awesome. Is it inferior to all the films, I think it might even better then a couple of them
I know someone who was in school with gordon's ex, he doesnt like the series unfortunately too unrealistic or something but surely that is missing the point
