US: Gotham (US spoilers)

Episode 12 much better. Back on track again!

May it continue to be good. Surprised how much I've enjoyed this series, I think it's made very well with some great actors as well.

Good show overall.

I read this morning that we will actually be getting a snifter, or just a passing reference to Jack Napier toward the end of this season (apparently Americans can't be patient, so it was brought forward from Season 2)... But we'll also meet Victor Freeze and watch Nygma's spiral toward becoming The Riddler!

Amongst other things!!! :D

He was as far as I know. I wish they'd introduced a few villains more gradually and a bit more organically, in fact I don't really know why they all had to be thrown at us in season 1. They've managed the Penguin and the Riddler pretty well, they seem to be gradually evolving into the villains Batman will eventually face, but people like Poison Ivy and Catwoman have been introduced in a pretty ham-fisted sort of way. Oh and I wish Fish Mooney would get lost, she's incredibly annoying and Jada Pinkett Smith plays her in such a camp OTT way (probably deliberate but annoying all the same).
 
Wow some hardcore dc and batman fans, I thought jokers real identity was never revealed apart from in the 90s batman films?

The start was good I liked how the characters had to give away clues but then they actually went weird when that girl said her name was ivy, what happen to Pamela Isley?
Maybe for the main characters they said full names but others had to actually just give their baddie name.

I thought Professor pyg was just made up for kids for that new batman animated cgi lol
but yeah noticed the guy in the pig mask!

I like the show batman still has the biggest and best characters out all the dc and since we can't get a batman show, gotham will have to do and its doing it nice I like enigma oddly and think penguin has stolen the show, not really keen on fish character but she provides some nice interest in the show.

Alfred my goodness anyone notice he speaks so loud? I have to turn the volume down when his scenes arrive !

Imagine if they start season 2 with 10 years afterwards.....

4 eps is not bad am enjoying Gotham, its nice to have the back story since we can't have the batman tv series.

Imagine an actual tv series like superman or batman, would get the highest ratings ever lol
 
Barbara's story is by far my favourite from the last couple of episodes, much more so than Bruce's. I know very little about her eventual character and until recently just kept thinking 'but she's Barbara Gordon', or going to be. Now they're throwing some darkness into how she'll become the other bat and actually liking the dark side.
 
It's funny, having watched all of Daredevil since the ep18 of Gotham, now I watch 19 and 20 and it seems a little cheesy? Maybe it's just this Fish Mooney storey line, I really don't get that whole bit.
