Gran Turismo 7

You also need a wired PS4 pad to plug in as a donor for its DRM chip (wireless pads timeout after so long). I suggest the Hori Mini pad which I used and is only a tenner from CEX.

Will is not going to say the pad is better overall as sponsored by Fanatec for a lot of his vids

When is a pad ever better than a wheel(When playing a racing game)?

Thank you mate I appreciate your input.

Generally the fastest times are achieved with pad.
Is that a fact? It's pretty much always been the opposite, I thought. Times may have changed though it's been a while since I looked at these things in much detail. Wheels were always considered to have the edge though there will always be great pad players. Maybe it has swung the other way in recent times?

Maybe I have it mixed up ? I may be wrong I’m not stating it as fact.

I always thought pad had advantage over wheel.

On another note, the Toyota GT One…it’s not here ???

I am terrible at scapes. I’m just too impatient.
What ? It doesn’t take long.

GTO won me a lot of races ! Love this thing.

I Finally managed A9 this morning first attempt after trying for several hours over the weekend. All it took was to turn the oversteer thing off.
This is what I find, some of the licenses require aids (or make it easier if they are set) and others are much easier without anything.

1st license I did them all in 10 minutes or so
A1 license the first 5-6 were still very easy and A9 especially (with the hairpin) was painfully difficult

Im constantly altering TC settings especially between licenses

Finally did A10 gold after about 2 hrs in total (in two or three sittings)

A few of the reviews pointed this out and this is my main pet peeve with GT's through the years, having to go all the way out once you have completed a license test just to go to the next part of that license - there should be a short cut within the same license level.

Im not sure I will ever go into Scapes, unless the cafe forces me to (which it already has), and I absolutely DETEST the cafe, I get why they did it, but its still REALLY annoying (Im sure some people love the stories of the different cars / models/ brands but half of it is complete bs to me)

Ive already seen a few different "similar models" of cars, so the 400 cars on release is starting to look really small, and poor for the price imo (obviously this might change in time)

Those "roullette" prizes are totally pointless - Im positive Im getting the 5000 credits (minimal pay out) 90% of the time, and the star rating of the roulette prize is completely meaningless Ive definitely got 5000 on both one star and 3 star wins. Im not 100% sure but also pretty positive Ive won an upgrade for a car I dont actually own yet......

Is anyone else getting quite a few "your console data doesnt match your online data" errors for GT7? I have had that 2 or 3 times already (and once where the ps5 was the only device to register - no internet - , when I was sitting right next to the router and connectivity was perfect, and ps5 is cabled into it) ?

Did just get a system update, so maybe that will resolve the above....
