I done this on Wednesday night in my very de-tuned 787b. I think I won by just over half a lap despite having 2 horror laps driving on a very wet track whilst on slicks.

I got gold on The Human Comedy 8 - Gr.3 Lake Maggiore earlier, same strat as last time, but the only assist was ABS at default, it was much easier

I just need to gold The Human Comedy missions 2-7 to get every gold medal now.

For Spa, i switched to full Wets when the rain came in as it was showing as Blue on the radar, but it only briefly went over the 2nd bar for wet track, so Inters would have been fine, then i moved on to Inters which were completely dead with 2 laps to go. I should have put Inters on when the rain started and just put RH on when the dry line appeared, it would have saved loads of time!

Gr4 BOP car stats --> Clicky

So the Atenza was adjusted, but they left it at 399HP, the only car with more power is the GT-R with 400HP but it weighs 100KG more.

I'll give the GT-R a try the next time i do Gr4 races and see what it's like, it was pretty good before v1.13.

I went with Ford for the Manufacturers Cup this time round, so i could see what the Ford GT Gr3 is like in todays BOP race. Started/Finished 9th in the Mustang yesterday in GT2, someone decided to try to undertake into the first corner on lap 1, so we then started from the back.

Manufacturers Cup Gr3 race at Spa, started 11th, finished 4th in the Ford GT

I started 7th, finished 3rd in the Gr4 Mustang in the Manufacturers race yesterday, for GT2 i ended up 1st in Kent, 3rd in the UK, 475th in EMEA overall apparently.

I finished off getting gold's on The Human Comedy missions today.

All License's, Circuit Experience's and Mission's are now Gold

That's crazy. Some of the circuit experiences are seemingly impossible for me. Wednesday my 42 inch C2 arrives and I can then connect up my g29 wheel. I hope this helps with lap times over a controller

Some of those CE's were difficult, the worst one for me was Leman's 1 Lap Attack, before patch 1.13 fixed the total loss of downforce at the Porsche curves on controller (apparently it was fine on wheel). Before 1.13 i used TCS 1 & Default ABS on the controller. After 1.13 i've turned TCS off, so i can get full power down. I do turn TCS back on to 1 when the tyres are worn right down in these 1 hour races.

I'll be interested to see how you get on with the C2, I'm thinking of buying one when the prices comes down a bit to use as a Laptop Monitor and for PS5 & Series X.

I think if you are thinking of running both consoles off the TV then it's a no brainer. It's hands down the best gaming TV/monitor out there

I cant understand the penalty system. Interlagos lap 3 i cut inside one of the hairpins to take 1st place (no shortcut, no penalty). I literally tapped the dudes quarter panel at maybe 40mph, he didnt go off track, he just tucked in right behind me.

For this i got a 2 second penalty saying forced opponent off track? despite me having video evidence showing otherwise. Finished 5th and deranking me to C. :confused:

So done with this make believe penalty crap.

I got a 3 sec penalty the other day when someone went into the gravel, lost control and spun back onto the track and hit me side on hard.

Is this worth buying? Been putting it off, still dont fancy payig £60 for it. Was going to wait for a price drop, I bought Elden ring and played a few hours on release but not touched it since, so dont want to waste my money again.

Well worth it in my eyes. The best racing game I've played in a long long time

Probably. Depending on your previous race behaviour you have to watch it a number of times until your counter is done

If you just want it for the single player experience then perhaps wait until it is cheaper. If you like racing online then it’s brilliant fun. For me personally I’ve sunk more hours into this game than any other racing game since the 360 was out. With both SP/MP the game is well worth it, I think.

Yes can confirm you just need to fully watch the video once and it goes away.

So was I! I've completed the menu books, collected over 150 cars and completed loads of other races and challenges.

I then did the sports online races and I was hooked until I got my first win.

In my eyes it's one of the games of the year despite the bad rep received at the start of release which they have now sorted.

Yeah once the sports races get their hooks into you it is hard to resist. I generally start near the back on the new weekly tracks, work out what is the best car for me then work my way towards the front throughout the week. It’s incredibly satisfying improving your lap times and climbing the driver ratings.

I'm not really into online racing, would you say there's enough to sink your teeth into single player wise?
