Yes but it’s only going to take you a few weeks to get through it depending on how much you play it. It’s fun while it lasts but the longevity is in the MP like all of these games.

How do you lot defend in online races? I'm way to soft and don't put up much of a fight and most people just dive bomb from too far off so I know it plays out I get wiped out and they'll be only get like 3/5 second penalty but I'll be down the back of the field.
Someone tired it last night on the last lap of Daily B while I was in P2. Late late lunge down the inside of T10 they punted me off and got a 3 second penalty. Thankfully I was able to keep control of the car and remained within the 3 second window but a move was never on but seems to be everyone just does big sends without thinking. The guy in question was clearly quicker than me and could have just sat on my bumper and tried to out-drag me down the final straight.

I've not had much of an issue with this in the Cup races in B/S, I haven't done the daily races for a couple of weeks while I was working on the single player.
Depending on the corners I might take a narrow line defending into the corner, or a wide line and switch back if I think they are going to go deep into the corner and possibly hit me.
Nice one, the GTR does go rather well. I haven't tried my Gr4 WRX but it's supposed to be OP in Gr4 BOP at the moment.
I was enjoying Race C in the Jag more yesterday.
I had 2 goes at the GR Cup yesterday too, the first race was a right mess.
1st) 6th on grid, 4th was slow to get away so i overtook into the 1st corner, i got punted off and given a 5 second penalty, then right hander after the first straight punted head on into the wall by two ahead who were fighting, i was then last and i think i finished 14th about 50 seconds behind 1st.
2nd) 7th on grid (inside for the first corner
), 3rd after the first corner, 2nd after a couple of laps, but took too much curb on the first corner on the final lap and spun, ended up 6th.
EDIT: Looks like the boost keeps refilling if you use it up after a cool down, i guess i should have used it constantly through the race. --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V349s_cRvI0

That's pretty much why I didn't even bother. I was seeing all the rants on Twitter leading up and I was just like, I don't have the energy for that. Today on Twitter all I've seen is just crazy penalty after crazy penalty.
I'm not sure i'll bother with the next F1 race in the Cup, it's not like i'm fast enough to win anything at the end.
Race B is alright this week, it's a WRX fest though. I'm going to try sticking with the Alfa again, it's loses a bit on the straights to the WRX, but is quicker through the corners from the races i've done. If everyone in B/S gets quicker, i'll use the WRX too, haha.
No win's yet but a few top 3 starts with a 1:33.9 and a couple of 2nd place finishes.

I see you’ve got that down to a 1:33.1 which is very fast! Managed to get to 1:34.6 which is a second or so faster today. Puts me in the top 3-5 in most B races. Online is like crack it’s crazy fun at times.
Nice one, starting near the front is good on this track, getting stuck behind slow drivers through the twisty bits can lose loads of time.
I got quicker when i started using the WRX, high 32's were there if I could do my fastest sectors on the same lap. I think the fastest player I've been matched up with ran a 1:32.6.
My best start is still 3rd with that time, in the last race I got 2nd place, finishing on the bumper of 1st place 0.1 behind. 3rd was about 3 seconds behind me after 5 laps.
These races are very close and great fun, there are still a few dive bombers and people that try to put you in the barriers on overtakes, but they mostly drop back when they get the penalties.
I'm starting to see A/S in the races today. Managed 6th, unfortunately i had to take a 1 sec penalty on the final lap just before the finish line (track limits). Great race though the top 7 in a group for the last 3 laps, nobody pulling away, it was intense!
You can spot the dive bombers a mile off on this track. I just try and stay out of the way only to watch them fly off. I mean there is late breaking and there is suicide. A 5 second penalty is not worth it! I do get the occasional pen for cutting but the track limits here are mostly generous.

@spaceman @Plainsong I can't beat either of your times on this track at all. I got kind of close to Plainsong but that was pure fluke so Spaceman is just on a different planet. The WRX just feels so unstable especially when you hit the part on the first short tunnel that takes you into the final sector. I tried with the GTR and the Megane for a bit as well. The Meggy I was super consistent with but like could only get 1:35/36 and the GTR was a little better but it's a tank and you lose too much time on the hairpin at the start of the long straight so I tip my cap to you two.
Does you DR rank decay if you don't play online much as I haven't actually done any races this week or much of last week.

@BenjiSayers Ive just shared a hotlap replay, if you want to see how i do it, it was only a 1:33.3, but gears/throttle/lines I take are the same as I always use, if I'm not defending in a race.
I don't thing DR changes as you take or lose that from the other players in the races apparently.

Cheers, I'll have a look shortly. I think the key places I'm losing time are the hairpin and that mini tunnel section as there I hit the brakes and the car just loses all stability and I wash out way to wide and drop my speed to recover it.
