Just tried this and it will be impossible to get 10 in 4 mins, maybe 1 out of every 10 counters actually works, rest of the time i just get beaten to a pulp

I have it, so no its not impossible. As I said make sure you do it near a hospital. That way when you respawn you can just continue, 4 mins is a surprisingly long time. With a bit of practice you should be able to get at least one in every five counter.

Iv'e given up with it, if you don't get beaten to a pulp the police catch you.

its easy to counter every punch they throw.

do it in broker, theres less cops around to catch you.

go to the heli tours, and start fighting the people going on the choppers theres loads of them and its really easy

Hahaha this game is hilarious.
I just bought a nice new suit and some black loafers from that fancy shop, and went and picked up Michelle for a date. She's like "Is that a new top? You should have looked in the mirror after putting it on. What were you thinking when you put on those pants? Did you bring those shoes back from your old country?"
Oh right, so she doesn't like a nice expensive suit but she can't help but comment on how she absolutely adores my scummy outfit which I was wearing when I arrived on the boat. Ridiculous.
Then she beat me at pool so I was like right that's it I've had enough of this, so I took her to some alley, pulled me gun and shot her in the head 10 times. She's just like "I've had enough for this bull**** I'll find my own way home" LMAO!

The only mission I ever had to replay was the very final mission. Most are silly easy.

Finished it last night and have to admit that even though I found mostly all the missions easy, the final mission is rather flawed in places. It ended up with me taking 8 attempts spread over two days just to finish that mission.
Overall opinion - Superb game still, despite the obvious flaws. Missions could be varied but I think Rockstar are using this as a foundation for future content/titles, ala Epic with Gears of War. I had no complaints about them though, the missions were either fun or a bit boring. It just never really bothered me as I wasn't one of those people who focused totally on the main storyline - I went out and did other things.
My playtime was 50hrs. It would still get a 9/10 from me.

Dude, I'm tha same on bikes, really rubbish, but did Ruff Riders on the third attempt - you DO NOT have/need to shoot him off the bike, just follow at a safe distance, after a while he will meet up with a few mates. After the cut-scene you'll be close behind them - carry on following them & they'll stop at a park, get off your bike, find cover and shoot the hell out of them

Went to my safehouse in Bohan yesterday, and noticed somehow my comet had got dented. Took it out for a spin, took it the pay and spray and got it resprayed. Parked it back in my residents parking space with my Sultan RS and went off and did some missions
came back to it later on in the same gaming session and it had vanished !!
Drove to my other safe houses in Algonquin and at Playboy X's and my Turismo / Croquette was there, as was my Hummer / Range Rover sport (sorry Huntley Sport)
so not quite sure why 1 had vanished. Went on the look out for one and couldnt find one for the life of me
in the end i cheated and spawned one. Its not a cheat when you loose the car because of some stupid glitch

People have caught people stealing their cars from outside safe houses, happens in real-life why not in GTAIV?
I used to have cop car parked outside one of mine, and it kept going missing, one day I saw a copper run across the road and get in my car and drive off
TBH I think the Reserved Parking is a waste of time, I have numerous nice cars parked (along with a new police cruiser) up but never use them!

Also I think he's refrerring to the wrong mission, the one where he meets up with his friends and drives into the park is No Love Lost.
Unless of course there's two where that happens, but I doubt it.
On Ruff Rider after a few failed attempts with a bike instead I ran back to the fast car I arrived in (it gets auto parked across the street) and followed him till I had him on a long straight and rammed him from behind, killed him in the crash.

Yes that's how I did it, knocked him off the bike then got out to finish him with my M4.
Just done another frustrating "chase me" mission where you have to pursue the guy from the jewellery store. That took several attempts until I realised you don't need to go down the alley with the spilled pipes. That mission also seemed to feature a point at which the pursued seemed to give up and drive normally. Just as well, really, I have to side with and repeat my previous view that with the high speed pursuits and manual aiming, driveby is virtually impossible in IV compared to SA (on PC). Makes the Catalina mission with the quad bikes seem easy.

Yeah I remember the start and jumping on the bike (I know I didn't bother turning round to follow him exactly, I went the way the bike was facing and caught him up that way), just can't remember the conclusion lol.
Another "chase" mission I had last night, was the one for Derick, when you have to find Bucky; he drives all through alley-ways and back gardens - I just stuck to the road as Bucky drives back onto them, most of the time I was sat at junctions waiting for him to come past
The worst one, IMO, is where you have to follow/chase the helicopter, I kept crashing cos I was pressing B to see where it was going, and ended up going the wrong way down the motorway lol.
when you got in the van to steal it. did you drive into the front or the back of the van that you parked in the way??

Anybody know where the Combat Sniper rifle is hidden on the map? I'm sure there is one knocking about somewhere, but I can't find it.
I've collected all the high end weapons so far, but only have the wooden sniper rifle so far... and would like to make my gun collection a complete set with the Combat Sniper.
I've not finished the story yet, so not sure if you collect later in a mission, but I want to find it on the map... anyone?
