*** Grand Theft Auto IV - The Official PS3 Multiplayer Arranging Thread ***

Hi, i had connection probs too, but i tried MP last night but couldnt work out how to do it. I could see 3 and my friends we highlighted in the friends menu in the phone but i couldnt do anything with them. IS there a quide or real manual for the game online?

My BT mic is too sensitive too and picks up my tapping on the joypad buttons. Can i uadjust this anywhere?

is anybody in the same boat?

its starting to make me wonder if i should trade it in for the 360 version as im missing a large chunk of the game
 
im just a bit annoyed that i cant play a part of the game i payed for
what could be the problem?

all my other ps3 games are online as usual?

Iv only been able to play one online game and that was with rp2000 on release day... After that I keep getting invites but upon trying to enter the game I get that screen on the mobile. Gives me time to play SP I suppose but its annoying when I fancy some online action.

yeah i got on once yesterday but before that and since ive been getting the message all the time:(
 
I've just had a few games. It's great fun! I found that if you have been playing SP for hours then go on MP it won't connect - almost as if it has actually disconnected you from PSN. Just exit the game, make sure you are signed in and go back in and it works every time.

Also if you are using a router make sure the PS3 is in NAT 2.

I've added a bunch of people, but as everyone is on at different times it is a little pointless sometimes. I'm on every day 10pm-early hours and sometimes 12pm-4pm too. If anyone plays during these times then add me please: Think85 :)
