Me, too. My postman put the usual spam rubbish through the postbox and went on his way. Oh well. I've got Underworld 1 + 2 to watch for the rest of the day.

Really can't understand why people want the hassle of having two copies when one is a few hours away. I'd just wait for tommorow morning. That's easy for me to say though. I've been playing since last Thursday :D
 
an insider at my local superstore has just told me they have 40 copies in and they are not expecting queues, still gonna get there for 10:30pm :)

That rings so true with me, not for GTAIV, but for so many other games i've ordered. There's nothing better than seeing a tightly packed jiffy landing on the door mat. But when you see the postie walking off with one to another house then it's murderous torture.

Waiting for GTAIV brings back memories of being a little nipper at home, sitting on the window sill waiting for the postman's van to drive down the lane with the latest C64 game, again in a splendilicious jiffy padded bag...

ummm then again perhaps I just have a fetish for jiffy's ? ;)

What are you going to do in an empty supermarket for one and a half hours?!

My local supermarket is about half a mile, so I'm going to leave about 2 mins to 12 :)

Mines probably closer than that, nah it will probably be more like 10:31pm actually i overexagerated before! Me n the lads can go and buy lots of healthy junk food and watch drunk/drugged up people get thrown out of the store!

*laughs evily while inspecting a delivery bag full of brown DVD sized parcels and holding a handul of 'sorry you were out' cards* - me tomorrow.

I shouldn't laugh too much though as my postman is due to deliver my copy tomorrow too. Trouble is I won't be there to sign for it as I'll be in another town delivering mail of my own... Oh noes! :o

Seen it advertised at a few shops for £39.99 with other freebies (free game rentals etc).

I said it before and ill say it again, people will use GTA as a bit of a loss leader, it wouldnt surprise me to see this at £29.99 come tomorrow.
 
anyone played both 360 AND PS3 version and comment on whether the pop-up issues etc etc are really better on the PS3 version vs the 360 ? or just internet rumours/people playing hacked versions ?

thanks - I have both consoles and not bothered which - was leaning towards 360 version for multiplayer, but I'm sure PS3 version won't be too far behind in that respect
 
Well the major online retailer for games and that had told us all it was sent on 24th April, had a look again just now and the date has been put to 28th as dispatch date, they have never sent me anything that has arrived the next day. Had a look at another forum and it seems everyones has switched to 28th as dispatch day, knowing how big this retailer is a lot of dissapointed fans of gta4 will be expected tomorrow. Gutted.
 
Will there be None pre order copies of the game in stores ?, i mean if you get first in the qeue say in **** and you havnt pre ordered it will there be copies on the shelves ?
