Well the major online retailer for games and that had told us all it was sent on 24th April, had a look again just now and the date has been put to 28th as dispatch date, they have never sent me anything that has arrived the next day. Had a look at another forum and it seems everyones has switched to 28th as dispatch day, knowing how big this retailer is a lot of dissapointed fans of gta4 will be expected tomorrow. Gutted.

Mine was set out by parcel force. Usually this online store doesn't give you a tracking number with orders. Hope it shows up tomorrow.

I think that the Special Edition was sent recorded possible parcel force the normal copy was done via normal mail as usual.

Will there be None pre order copies of the game in stores ?, i mean if you get first in the qeue say in **** and you havnt pre ordered it will there be copies on the shelves ?

Is that a competitor ?, if it is I'd edit it out pretty sharpish mate.

Probably, seeing how it says "Next Day Delivery."

I'd still opt to go out tonight. But I suspect they'll get one of largest supplies of this game so it's possible. I wouldn't want to risk it though personally.

I'm sure they'll have more than enough.

At the San Andreas midnight launch they had a few PS2's set up with it on and a mountain of boxes all filled with GTA copies. Plenty to go round and I was >>>>

Actually, it now says on there that pre-order stock is GONE and won't be dispatched until 8th May!

No. Mine was a late pre-order which should be dealt with today. If not shops tomorrow morning I guess. (They said any orders before 19th April will be sent today, I am 99.9% certain my order was on 17th April. (The company I got from processed half pre-orders for game on Friday, SEs on Saturday and remaining orders today. beauty of the SMS jobby is I don't have to waste time checking stuff online.

as far as i know anyway.

They sell consoles, as does OcUK, therefore they ARE competitors.

I've been asking around, not found one person that has had their *major UK game retailer* pre-order arrive today.

Personally i ordered from *major high street chain* as i was too late to pre-order from anywhere online to guarantee release day. I got a text message from them half hour ago saying it had arrived, bolted down there to be told that i can pick it up tommorrow! Why text me! WHY!??

I suspect they held shipping the copies early as Take 2 prob hammered it home after some of the early release rumours early last week that there would be serious consequences if it was even shipped out early.
