They've handled it exactly as they should. They said it would be delivered ON release day, which it will.

But it's not the company-you-pre-ordered-it-off-of's fault really.

Think biggest problem is Take 2 saying that orders could not leave until Monday as they put a blocking order in.

I dont see why it has to be different to any other game and they send orders out Friday/Saturday receive it day before release day.

Still think Friday would have been better release day most shops had stock it was leaked early and Rockstar must have been expecting it tbh i mean loads of game leak on net early.
 
Hmm. Clearly my order wasnt dispatched at Saturday at 8am, else it would be here.

Outright lieing really isn't cool, wont be using those guys again. :\
 
We can claim our money back everyone who used the £5 service, because by lying and saying they sent it on saturday it also means it has not arrived within one buisness day, which they guarentee :D

Least you didnt get an email saying it was sent Royal Mail Special Delivery on the 24th haha, that was on Thursday and the tracking number isnt even live yet. :eek:

I'm glad I'm not the only one, my tracking number still doesnt work either, if it doesn't work at 4 by the time I get back from school I'll be on the phone.
 
Spunj help! Do I go out at midnight a buy it, or do I wait until the morning and buy the copy that Benjo has reserved for me?

They were cheeky enough to email me asking if the money had been taken! :eek: They said if I confirm it had been taken I could have my tracking number lol.

Ohhh fun fun fun. ;)
 
Actually. My postie hasn't been at all i don't think, although I read somewhere that official hours are 11-3pm now or something?

So she should either be turning up soon with a bunch of bills & GTAIV or she just couldn't be bothered to get out of bed. Doesn't suprise me. :p
 
lol its so amazing how inpatience people are i mean its not out till tomorrow if you don't have it by then i guess you can moan but ffs its not tuesday its monday chill out!!!!
 
I lucked out I think! I phoned up my rental store and they had one 360 copy free for tonights launch! So they have put it away for an hour till I get down there and pre-order it!
 
It's the lies thats annoyed me too. This is the first time I've bothered to pre-order, I did it because all the advertising made out that it'd arrive before the release date, that I'd be the first to be playing the game, yet I'll be able to buy it in their shops before I get my preorder.

And then to find out it hasn't actually been dispatched two days after they said it was, and five days after they took my money is the icing on the cake.
 
No-one who ordered online from the big online companies is getting a copy today. All of them charged cards late last week or weekend. All of them packed them and held on to them for Royal Mail to collect today. Most of them made it clear this was the case. Why are people moaning? Surely it became clear last week that we were not getting this early unless we found a small shop or used some social engineering to trick gullible shop assistants?

Because at least my supplier blatently lied, its not the fact we are not getting it early, its the fact that we were misled.
