Couldn't resist.

Nipped through to the wife's work and picked it up from her.

She thinks I am mad.

Going to fire it up and watch the intro etc, then nip out - stock up on plenty of Stella and batten down the hatches.

I'm not back at work till Saturday.........HAHA!!!! :D

The big game retailer in town was sold out, because they opened at midnight. Went to the other one (which is in the back of Debenhams) and they had 2 huge boxes full! I'd be amazed if anyone can't get a copy - however there is a copy on Ebay just now which is >£60!!!
 
Bought it last night, but had to give my brother a lift home and he lives about 15 miles from me so it took me a while to get home, finally got in, installed it and played 30mins...then thought "i've gotta be at work at 8am"...then played another 30mins lol...
I dont get in til 8pm tonight....i cant wait!!!

Sounds like an awesome plan, but replace stella with san miguel and you'll be a real winner. :D
 
Finally got my hands on my preorder this morning. :D

First impressions...wow, just WOW. The sheer scale of the city and the intensity of detail that creates LC is just stunning. Graphics aren't mega-impressive but when you take into consideration the scale of it all it doesn't fail to impress.

Love the gameplay too, the dialogue and missions so far are so good.

Love it, see y'all later.
 
Been to a couple of places near to me for a PS3 version and they were both sold out, just ordered one off the net for delivery tommorow instead.

Have to play my 360 version until then :)
 
is it better than vice city?

considering i thought both gta3 and san andrea were pants but loved gta and vice city?
 
mine arrived this morning, so far i've spend a good couple of hours just fighting people and stealing cars. think i'll have to explore and do some missions at some point, lol

first impressions = its excellent :D
 
OMG Asda was so busy! Hundreds were there! Was a lil crazy - but i think it was worth it. I've never seen so many chavs/geeks/hoodies gathered in one place before!
 
Meh ended up taking a trot over having a look and not bothering. These games just dont float my boat, after the noveltys worn off (and that happens amazingly fast) its just another sandbox game. =/
