mine arrived this morning, so far i've spend a good couple of hours just fighting people and stealing cars. think i'll have to explore and do some missions at some point, lol

first impressions = its excellent

Just wait to meet your friends for fun, gf, internet cafe, and just cruising around with some tunes on, cop missions etc.

No rush to do the missions, they seem like an after thought to me, Im just too into the city life now.

someone should make a poll to say which has better graphics, PS3 or 360... this would give people a better idea on which platform to get it etc.

Meh ended up taking a trot over having a look and not bothering. These games just dont float my boat, after the noveltys worn off (and that happens amazingly fast) its just another sandbox game. =/

Probably because i was waiting to see what people thought about the game, which is probably a flawed thing to do. Theres so much hype for this thing that opinions are probably initially gonna be skewed in the first place. Give it a week or so and people will probably be more objective about it.

Most opinions I've read suggest the 360 has better colours.. it's all personal preference I guess

I'm not 100% sure whether to buy it or not now.. I've never like previous GTA games, but I loved CrackDown.. not sure whether the tongue in cheek goofyness of CrackDown made the difference or not.

I prefer the look of the 360 to be honest, the PS3 looks darker, but that picture isn't a good example

Not really you can see the differences in the background and colours pretty easily, the PS3 looks softer and the 360 more clinical, just like reviews said.
