Or maybe you'll do the same thing you seem to have with SA. Played for a couple of hours and dismissed the game on the background story and initial characters, despite it being the best in the series in all respects once you get to know the city, characters and little details.

I didn't like the music, I wasn't keen on the environment, I wasn't taken in by the story to begin with. It's like I heard about Resistance, it's good after 'x' point. I don't want to play through something I don't like to get to something I do.

I loved GTA3 and GTA: Vice City, so it's nothing against the series.

Can definitely understand that, it was a tough one that would miss a lot of people not into that "scene" but I always enjoyed it, all cause of O G Loc! lol

Welcome to the Jungle was cool, as were a couple of others. But the majority wasn't my cup of tea. The majority in Vice City for example, were.

I just went down and checked both places in the area that was selling GTA4, neither received such a letter and will not sell until the 29th.

I'm gonna be the first to say, and the only one with balls to say it, but San Andreas sucked because it was about ghetto rap hip hop blacks. I hope they don't cover that stereotype again and focus on classier themes, like some European cities such as Amsterdam or London or Prague.

That really wasn't a problem for me, and I really got into the storyline, its so different from the Independance of GTA III and the Sheer "Take everything over and BE the boss" in Vice, its a culture thats very popular, and has a good story to tell, I just hope its not visited again, SA did it justice imho.

I never got round to completing SA 'cos of it's shear size.

The music was crap yeah but the storyline wasn't too bad.

Vice City was the best for sure well until now of course

Hmm... was going to take a trip down to the Supermarket tomorrow evening, think i'll just wait until Tuesday unless i know its 100% that they have hit the shelves early.

Totally agree, i dont want to play a game where every other word is dawg and people asking me if im tripping. The story sucked, the characters were quite dull (although Woozie was cool) And just when the story got fun (over in Las Venturas with the casino heist) you get dragged back to more ghetto bull**** to finish the game. Its a pity because the features, setting and everything were excellent.
