What a night.
Called up Supermarket to find out how much they had in stock, 50 on each platform so she said.
Better be safe than sorry, so i turned up at 9.45. No queue, so i went for a McD's. Returned at 10.45 and a couple of people were starting to form a line, so i jumped in, glad i did when i got there.
At 11.30 there were around 50 people waiting, and by 11.45 there were probably close to 100. The tannoy came on, and the guy said it was first come first served, and it was 20 PS3 copies, and 25 360 copies. They would be handed out 1 per customer and i was far enough ahead in the line to get a copy, been playing it tonight since i got in from work, pretty impressed

I honestly wish I was playing it on a smaller TV
I'm using a 37" and I have to sit really close. Seem to end up doing most missions looking at the radar!
Same here, that and the shocking car handling, it's hard to get used to but great once you have!

Haven't played BOP so can't comment. Cruising round the city, just getting a feel for the game, nout wrong with that, especially as its set in the GTA universe with GTA rules. Pilling a big rig into a stream of cars which in turn bounce into the peds is great fun. The Corvette is a beast of a car too and handles much better than the generic ones. I have also been trying to find these frame rate, popup and aliasing issues that people have been harping on about but not come across any yet.
I see what you mean. Are there no taxi missions, vigilante missions, etc? That's one thing I quite liked about Saints Row - drug escort missions, ho recruitment missions, hitman, carjacking, etc.
