*** Grand Theft Auto IV - The Official Thread ***

I prefer San Andreas to this tbh. Not limited to only one city, can fly planes and loads of other little things in San Andreas that they have skipped from this.

Buy a Premium, Arcade is not worth it.

The hard drive alone makes up for more than the price difference between the two and you won't be paying for hundreds of accessories.

£200 with GTA IV.
The premium i cant get for free. The arcade i can (or a PS3).

Can anyone give me any advice? im running it on 1080 on my 360. on a 24" monitor. 1:1 pixel mapping. and its atually almost bad to look at. generally its nice, cutscenes look nice. but in game, especially at distance, it does not look nice at all, most edges are very pixelated. Its as if the distance blur etc makes it look really bad? is it worth trying in 720? theres nothing in the display menu to turn off to fix the motion/distance blur etc like there was on san-andreas haha

Any help?

well went and picked it up this afternoon, played for a few hours and really enjoying it, about 15% through I think, havent tried MP yet. But im up at 5am in the morning to go offshore to work for 2weeks :( :( :( :(

Thought I may as well post this here as well.

I reckon there a fair number missing from GTA IV that was in San Andreas. But I also think there's a substantial amount added, probably more than has been removed.

And for me, I'd take the far, far more detailed city in IV over the 3 cities in San Andreas. I don't think I could play San Andreas now, I'm almost certain it would just feel too basic in comparison.
