I am just loving this game, had a day off work and have been on it since 8 this morning :)

Just unlocked the second island, and just for a sight, I climbed the large crane near Playboys pad, the view is breathtaking, and you can still see cars and peds moving, something which never happened in the previous versions, fortunately I had the sniper rifle :eek: :D

Just glad I had the subtitles on for Badman :D Couldn't understand the guy
 
60% through this, onto the last mission now, shame the story is almost at an end! Will be a challenge get all of the hidden stuff though.

How is your xbox connected to the monitor ? Component cable is my guess ?

If you haven't got it , i would suggest you think about getting the MS VGA lead and your dell should then be able to run at 1080p over that.

Either way from my experience with my 360 and 2405 its never quite as sharp as the output from a computer hooked up to the monitor but the way you are running it now is the same as running it on a computer in a non-native resolution and we all know how that always looks blurrier due to the scaling than running the monitor at the resolution of the panel.
 
I wonder when one of those 'You know when you've played too much GTA4 when...' threads appear
 
ROFL gutted after that video

I got the PS3 version because of apparent less pop up

And now it seems that the PS3 has 10x worse pop than the 360, and it looks so much nicer sharper, draw distance is so much better too

:/

oh well, too far in to change now

Yeah, I though that was brilliant. There are just so many little touches to this game, it's one of the reasons I think R* are one of the best game developers out there. Many many big studios would be completely happy with releasing a game like this with only half the content.
 
I honestly love this game to absolute bitz!!!

It just gets better every time you play it.

One thing though, I have had a 360 for a while now but never really got around to hooking it up online via wireless.

Am I missing out by not playing multiplayer?.

Only game I played online was Day of Defeat so I have never played anything like this online before.

As if it is not taking up enough of my time already!!!.

I haven't noticed anywhere near the pop up like in that video tbh :confused:
 
I've played both versions at 720p and 1080p and saw very little difference between the too. There is a difference but it is very slight. Barely noticable in anything under 1080p
