Then you have a magic tv, because when I look up close it does look as pixelated as that screen would suggest.im sat 1 foot away from my screen. its above me behind my computer screen raised up. it looks nothing like that.

Since I meant "completely different" in terms of graphics you answered your own question.please elaborate why the two consloe versions are completely different as from what i can see by the two screen shots above they are exactly the same
When it comes to PC games, *all* image quality differences between hardware come from the drivers. The game is not written a certain way for each graphics card. The game is written the same way for each console allbeit only written differently for the rendering required by each Gpu manufacturer i.e Ati vs Nvidia

Why would you? I have a 360.Hit a nerve?![]()

In this sense the 360/PS3 versions of GTA4 are not the same, whereas a PC version would be universal.
I agree, and that's exactly what I was saying in regards to the difference.yes on a pc the driver handles the images one written by ati and another written by Nvidia both handling the one pc game but differently one may slow down whereas the other may not one looks terrible when the other does not
on a console the game is written with the premise that one is Ati and the other an Nvidia machine smae problems as above but still the same game
Nah the argument is which version has been better optimised to its console, and it's still in debate. I've not even made my mind up really as I honestly don't know how the PS3 version handles framerate (I get lots of framerate dip on my 360 version), but the PS3 version looks blurry to me.anyway the argument is ps3 vs 360 and the gpu manuf. are Ati and Nvidia so its still the age old my GFX card is better than yours argument as the game was probably ported from one to another anyway (opens a whole can of worms with that one)
<PS3 fangirls hear GTA4 looks slightly better on the PS3>
"Everyone get a PS3 GTA4 looks better on it"
<Turns out PS3 version is only 640p and no AA compared to 360's 720p 2xAA>
"It doesn't matter, they both look fine, who cares about graphics"

As for the GPUs, the Xenox GPU is technically superior to the RXS GPU, and this is not why I bought a 360 but as you said that's a whole different kettle of fish and some would say the Cell makes up for it (though we're yet to see if this is true.)
But yeah, it's not about the GPUs. It's about which version/port of the game is better optimised.
That is definitely a huge difference and could well be the Cell taking the physics.I agree, and tbh I think the cell has already helped with the explosions in this game, they seem allot more realistic on the PS3 version and many people are conjecturing it's because the cell is helping with the physics of the explosions,

K, I just went to check and I'm not being any sort of fanboy here but I blew up two cars and the explosions looked big and yellow like the PS3 shots.I don't know what's going on in the picture you showed me but I suspect someone blew up a bike instead of a car or something.
what the, those arent true screens, the 360 one looks awful is that in HD?
