Anyone else think that the Special Guest Comedian was a brilliant touch to the game?

I gave in a brought a PS3 with GTA4 (Combo for £319.99)
Really enjoying the single player. The story line has made me want to play through the missions so far unlike some of the previous GTAs.
I've been playing the multiplayer as well with a few mates, such a laugh. Although one of my mates (60Gb Version) has had some problems with it locking up online.
Graphics wise, most of the time it looks stunning. 720p Running on my 26" Samsung. I tend to find it looks worse at night.

im about 30-35% in and still have no idea how to get a cab
enlighten mei push triangle and it obviously just hijacks it.
I'm sure you can call Roman for a cab after you build a relationship with him.
Bring up your phone and go to call him. It will come up with 'Phone Call' or 'Phone for Cab?"

I think it's L1 on ps3 to call it and hold triangle when near the cab to get in.

L1 to call a cab, or use your phone to call Roman. Then *HOLD* triangle to enter as a passenger.

Cab doesn't need to be empty. I don't even call them. Just walk up to them and hold triangle. If there's already someone in the back, he'll pull them out.
im running this through a VGA box currently on to my 22" monitor and no matter what i do, its dark as hell. anyone got any idea if i can make this more playable cus its frustrating the crap outta me!? I have messed with the brightness, contrast and black level but it seems to do sod all...

Sometimes its really dark for me as well but I'm not sure if thats my hdtv.
I've just had to fumble around with the picture settings on my tele.
Have you up'd the brightness in the game? Start Button -> Display Settings
you can make them brighter!
