In the day time you can turn them off and on, at night you can only make them brighter or dimmer. Unless you ram it into the car infront and smash your lights!

Not sure why, but this solution made me LOL
I accidentally only pressed triangle when trying to get into a cab last night - I dragged the driver out and got in before I could cancel it. I jumped out the cab immediately, the driver climbed back in and I got in the back and he drove me around without any complaint. Have tried to do it again, but usually they just wander off or stand in the middle of the street

im about 30-35% in and still have no idea how to get a cab
enlighten mei push triangle and it obviously just hijacks it.
On the 360 you have to hold the button to get in as the passenger??
Could well be the same on the ps3?

Push and hold the 'X' button the 360 or I assume the square button on the PS3.
One touch I really like about the cars is when you batter them up good and proper it struggles to start after crashing. This is quite funny after you have just rammed a cop car.

Nice to get more console owners in though, leave that filthy PC gaming behind.
On another forum I visit its quite the opposite, but they are very much a bunch of "lol Sony"-ers.

Judging from what I heard when I went to a supermarket to get my copy, there were more 360 people there.
The guy at the counter went down the que with a list and ticked off how many 360 and ps3 copies were to be sold and went from there but I think he said double 360 to ps3, but that was only in the Stockport area so.

I'd miss the DLC too much myself. I guess if all your friends have the ps3 version it makes up for it though
I'm talking console bundles, not just versions of the game.
People buying the game are getting more 360 versions, which seems to have been the case at all midnight launches (certainly was with mine!), but those buying a console+GTAIV bundle do seem to get the PS3 one.
I wonder if reliability worries are playing a role in this?
Probably. Quite a lot of RROD's have happened when people have played GTA.
So am I, they're all jumping at a 360+ GTAIV.

Me and 4 mates all got 360's last week just for GTA IV aswell lol.
There is no way im paying £300 for a console.

well, got my latest 360 today, £200 and came with viva pinata and forza 2 for free (neither of which i have played, so i thought that was alright) also bought GTA IV from the only place in town i could find it at, and for £45 XD (could have got it for £35 at work, but no stock, oh well, it'll be worth it) can't wait to get playing!

At the store where I got my PS3, at 8:30am on release day in Stockport, the 360 sold a little more. They sold 3 times the PS3 consoles than 360's though. I guess it just depends which store you go to. Either way GTA4 has been very healthy for both consoles!
When are we expecting some news on the first weeks sales?
