run it at 720p anyway. i find its actually slightly less blurry at 720p on my 1080p screen than it is running the game at 1080p.

Ive smashed into the back of other cars to see them swerve off the road and come to a stop.
When i went and had a look they were dead and there face was on the steering wheel with the horn going

(On my friends PS3)

Is the lag or jaggys noticable to you?

Also for some reason I cant get the hud in the top right to work? :confused:

, even with it on it still is not there :confused:

I've never seen any jaggys. I think if you see them it'll be down to either poor display panel or badly configured display panel. I know if I alter the setup on my LX508D to something really awful, then the jaggys will appear (tested with PGR4 not GTA)

Shame I cant adjust sharpness on my monitor to get rid of the awfull blur

. Maybe rockstar will get an update out to solve the jaggyness or optimize the game for better performance? Might try on the tv downstairs again later, its a real shame I enjoy cruising around the city but the jaggys and bluryness do spoil it, seems like it might have been rushed abit to get out on time?

GT5P had jaggys too but nothing I could not cope with, no where near as bad as GTA IV and on the 37" tv downstairs @ 1080i looked pretty good.

I hope it holds up on your monitor. Mine was fine at first then I started getting increasing picture dropout on my Samsung monitor until the point where it was just a black screen all the time. Digital DVI to DVI from PC to monitor works fine and connecting the PS3 back to a TV via HDMI to HDMI also works fine so I can only assume there was a problem with the HDMI to DVI lead or a HDCP handshake issue.

I've given up on the PS3 version now.

Started playing my xbox version yesterday. Much better, more because of the framerate. And that the blur isnt an issue on the xbox version. Also better AA.

i didnt realise Snow Storm caused so many problems? i found it pretty easy, just run out into a car and went to a Spray shop

Same. I found it just as easy as most shootouts. I just killed all the cops and ran outside and drived away.

I did it on my 2nd attempt (after taking time out to explore and learn that building before making that 2nd attempt), but I did panic once I was back in the open getting shot from every angle, so ran towards the sea and jumped - and discovered the boat

Any idea if any settings in the setup can cause this?

Also is it true the xbox360 version runs at higher res than PS3? apparently the PS3 version is 640P upscaled.

So aparently Xbox360 has superior framerate now, damn I think I should sell GTA IV and a PS3 to get an Xbox360 and GTA IV.

The 360 version runs at 720p with 2xAA i think (the res is right, dont hold me to the AA part though).

The 360 does apparantly have better FPS, cant comment myself cause i only have the 360 version.

It really sucks at the moment I cant play it, the only other thing I can think of doing is going downstairs and trying game mode on the tv, apparently that solved a lot of problems somehow :confused:

Faffing about on this game I might aswell be on a PC at this rate!
