Is it true a new island will be released through downloadable content for the xbox360 version but not the for PS3?
Possibly, there will be exclusive XBOX 360 DLC (MS Paid $50 mil for exclusivity, so you can imagine they'll want people thier moneys worth) But as to whether it's a new island, new shops, cars, helics, boats, we don't know yet. All we know is there will be mission, of course as they stated "10 hours+ story" somewhere

Nobody knows. Here's the facts so far:
- Microsoft paid Rockstar/T2 50 million to get exclusive downloadable content for the Xbox 360.
- Sam Houser (Or was it Dan?) stated in an interview that he wants the downloadable content to have 10 hours of new gameplay rather than just cars and clothes and the like. He doesn't say anywhere whether this applies to the 360 exclusive content, or content that will be available for both.
- A picture found on the Rockstar Social Club site shows a plane ticket from Liberty City to San Andreas, with Niko Bellic's name on it.
Take from that what you will.
One thing I am liking is the varietys of taxis, I know in VC they had the "old" and "new" stylee, and the Red one after 100 missions, and the "old" & "new" in SA, but the subtle differences between many of the "car" taxis, is a nice touch

And the PC to play it on only costs 3 times what the consoles cost! BARGAIN!!!
Yeah, some people are also conjecturing (Note: rumor mill) that the 50 million from Microsoft was also to get GTA IV under the "Games for Windows LIVE" umbrella, which isn't completely out of the question considering the multiplayer features. Which would be cool in my opinion.
But the thing is, I dont care as I allready have a PC to play it.....
Hope that happens, consoles are garbage atm for me, much prefer it on the PC, at least then you can adjust thye graphics settings and all that.

If you only have a PS3 you will still enjoy the game, I find it easily worth the money even without DLC.
Just look at the DLC for Burnout Paradise, by the time they release it it might be too late for some people.

I'd be surprised if there any game based websites which sell console games for £50. Most new titles can be had from between £30 to £37 on release if you shop around. Yes not as cheap as PC but a mile away from the "50" figure people like to throw around.
My copy cost £49.99 on release day on the 360 from a well known music store. Tad expensive, but worth it.
