That's weird. I never actually turned the TV on so I don't know about that one :p

The colours were a bit bland so I whacked the saturation up :)
 
Well I just decided to try to find a decent multiplayer match while Badcompany stats are down, why O why didn't they include some sort of lobby/server browser/server filter so I can choose not to have the ridiculous auto aim, minimap blobs and nametag settings on.

Every server its the same settings and the same crappy wasted potential on multiplayer, you could have proper ambushes, proper defenses, you could blend into the traffic and AI pedestrians and have proper chases but nooooo, kiddys want there hold left trigger, hold right trigger instant death no challenge gameplay.

Such a waste :(

That's the main reason I've yet to try it out online. It sounds far too guided to be any fun.
 
I finshed the main story part of the game but still have one of Brucies races to do, I think it's the "Road to Bohan" one but whenever I choose the race option on the phoen he says there are no more races, what do I have to do to get that race? (or any other race again?)

Have you tried going to a different island and calling?
 
If I remember correctly there are 30 Brucie races, 10 on each [main] island, to access them you have to be on the correct island ;)
 
Im at 62% and completed all the story on 26hours.

No achievement though. I have made the decision at the end and then Bernie called. Now I have no missions left apart from maybe 5 assassin ones. Do i need these for the 30hr achievement?

What a joke, i did the revenge path. Got the call a bit after my previous post.

Cleaned up the boat really well opened the cargo doors and made my way down. I then had the biggest glitch ever and fell thru a polygon into the base of the ship. I was running about on an invisible boat floor about 2m above the water. People were shooting at me, I could lock onto them only to realise there was no one there only muzzle flash above water. I killed them with an RPG then realised dimitri was below me (after i ran up some invisible stairs) and so i shot in his direction.

ONly to hit what I can guess was an explosion barrel - which obviously killed me :(
 
Well I have done all the most wanted missions. For some reason the achievement didn't unlock though?

Just working through the game still now, about 77%
 
THe ending is kind of dissapointing. I mean, I didn't get the feeling I had made it big in the underworld, where is my big mansion and where is my nice car?

I believe Rockstar said something about the point in this story being going from rags to better rags. Besides there are nice cars out there for the taking:p.

I dont think thats the point though.
The point was revenge I thought , after doing all Nico had done just to have the chance to kill or not kill (as the case may be) one guy would leave you feeling a bit flat I'd expect.
 
Just got the game and played it for the first time last night. A few things :

- Graphics are good but just really hard to see in the dark / in shadows ? Is this normal or should I just crank up the brightness ?

- cars, wow just pretty uncontrollable !! especially around corners, handbrakes is pretty much useless, as is the brakes, any tips ?
 
Just slow down and roll round corners, applying power doesnt really achieve the desired drift effect as the engine just bogs down. Seems to be easier now that I actually control the camera as i turn aswell although I think the car handling is pretty good and realistic anyway.
