*** Grand Theft Auto IV - The Official Thread ***

I finished the game yesterday and the only problem I had with it is when you're in a dark area and you cant see anything at all, especially in buildings when its night and you have to just keep pressing the auto aim button to hopefully latch onto someone? If that makes sense?

Im at 40% with 14 hrs, just getting the 30 hr achieve as ill never have to time to play it through again. Bit crap really as means Im rushing through a bit, but I'm properly loving the game although its too easy after doing a mission just to go on a rampage for the hell of it. :D Really gives you chance to explore the crash physics which are pretty impressive.

I finished last night (well one of two possible endings) and playtime was 51 hours, but I have only 71% done when I have done a lot of side missions, is there a list of what counts towards 100% and how much each bit is worth?

Well done, thats some hours you've put in.
I did post a 100% list in the spoiler thread a while ago (sry not got it to hand atm) so have a look in there (prob somewhere in the last few pages).

Ehh...try turning up the brightness either on your TV or in-game? Not really an issue with the game itself.

I loved the game for a couple of weeks big time, I love the direction it went, I love the new driving, most of all I love the graphics and the physics. But all in all when I really think about it, I had much more fun on previous GTA's.

Now they have the foundation though they need to bring back the fun factor!

That's what I was explaining to one of my mates the other day. Don't get my wrong, the game is brilliant but I had way too much fun in SA. I'm just hoping the next installment of GTA will be as fun as SA, or at least VC.

I got a PS3 recently, 2nd hand, and it came with GTA 4. I tried it out and I was a bit appalled by how bad it looked compared to the 360 version. I had only seen it running on a PS3 once before at my cousin's, but I put that down to him having a massive, but cheap TV.

I put the 360 version back in and it seemed much better.

I'm not trying to cause a debate here, I just wondered if anyone else found the same thing? The PS3 version was a bit jaggy, that is the only way I can explain it. It also seemed a bit blurry!

Yea the 360 version deffo looks a lot sharper/higher res. But the colours of the PS3 version are a lot more vibrant, the 360 version seemed a lot blander/brown and for some reason you couldnt watch TV in fullscreen on the 360 one.
