If they released the game on Friday it would be next friday, not this Friday, either way you get it early, we only get it Tuesday because thats the day Americans have their releases.

Running through the Arndale Centre shooting people then stealing a car and escaping into Marsh Farm to evade the police - take out the shooting part and that is a normal night for most Lutonians

And to set the record straight - I am not directing my anger/disappointment/resentment etc at people that have managed to get it early - well done to them.
Just a tiny bit jealous and annoyed that i'm working all next week, not in Tuesday/Thursday/Friday night, out all of Saturday and Sunday so getting the game early would have been perfect.

Looking at the video review I quite like the look of the game. I think I will buy it after all. Not in a rush for it though, I will buy it 2nd hand or in about a month when it's £30.

Looked in local Supermarket as I was going anyway and they have shelf space for both versions with sold out stickers on it and a *chart* showing both versions at number one but with "out April 29th" on it !.
Picked up Conan for PS3 for a tenner from a place in the Shopping Centre over the road though.
Why? From what I saw it had everything in from the main game and all I could think was UK broadband would mean major lag on the xbox.
