***Grand Theft Auto VI***

I’ll have to clean the dust off my Series X in that case.

100% I’ll double dip if needed.
I double dipped with GTA5, sold the PS3 as soon as the PC version was announced but by that point I'd done most of the game anyway and there are loads of bits that would have been amazing to experience in ultrawide at higher resolution and FPS (for the first time) to the point I wished I skipped the console version and just waited entirely.

So will not be double dipping for this reason this time round.

Wasn't aware they'd released the tech details yet.

PS: How was that Jedi game you got on release for PC :D
I completed Jedi Survivor within a month as it only cost like £3 on GamePass trial. It was mostly OK other than the shader stutters but that was mostly negated by turning RT off which made little visual difference as it only applied to water reflections so was still able to enjoy the story etc. now the first Jedi game on the other hand was too much parkouring to enjoy.

I was aware of the issues but wondered if you'd returned to it. I also appreciate this probably isn't the right thread!

No reason to ever return to single player games with no additional replay value. I did all the sub quests and finding things, I do not go back to games if they offer no replay value unless it's a classic that has been remade (Dead Space for example and all the Res Evils etc which offer a new experience with nicer graphics/sound).

i ust got the game on sale. i guess its worth playing now that it is fixed?

Do you mean Jedi Survivor or one of the others mentioned? If Jedi then yeah they did patch up a lot of issues, but the main one, traversal stuttering, was never fixed and still remains. you can reduce it but turning off RT, but there will still be hitches throughout which can mostly be ignored as they only really are annoying in the main outdoor area (I forgot the name lol).

2nd game that came out about 12 months or so ago

Isn't that always the case for about 2 decades now.

Developed on pc, so must run on a pc but console exclusives

Yup, they likely have a pc version sitting basically ready to go, but they want to milk people that have a console and a pc who will also buy the pc release later for better visuals, mods etc.

Rockstar's tweet announcing the trailer release date has nearly 2 million likes and over 160 million views.

The trailer on youtube currently has over 800k likes and it's not even live yet.

I predict the trailer on youtube will have over 1 billion views by the turn of the week.

Rockstar will make all of the marketing budget back just from a 1m 31s trailer tomorrow
