Greenlizard0 PL & Championship Football Thread ** spoilers ** [25th - 27th April 2023]

I wouldn't call the title race over. There are no easy games in this league, Arsenal still have a 2 point lead.

Could still be worse. They need to arrest this slump they're in and push City all the way.

Don’t be silly

On current form....? You think i am being silly? Is this like a couple of seasons ago when you said "we can beat Villa at home?" when I thought otherwise :D

I did also say a few months ago, based on the stats in La Liga that there is more chance Felix will get sent off at least once in the next 6 months and he did in the 1st game...I like to think my predictions are based on facts and the fact is that on current form. Arsenal will struggle to get 2 wins out of the next 5 to break 80pts.

I know you should never give up but realistically....90pts is impossible, based on current form.

Not a bad performance in possibly our trickiest game left. It was a nice strike for the West Ham goal but I'm not sure about Ali's positioning. Thankfully, like at the weekend we hit back straight away and probably should gave been a goal or two up at ht.

Although on the ball we're lots of joy thanks to this new system, it's going to take some work getting used to it from a defensive side of things. Arsenal and City play it with a CB as the other fullback but we have Robertson still there and he's intent on playing like he always has. It probably wasn't a good idea him breaking forwards in the dying minutes leaving us with a back two and allowing West Ham an easy counter. Another win though and a couple of home games on the bounce so hopefully we can string a few results together.
