Greenlizard0 PL & Championship Football Thread ** spoilers ** [2nd-4th Oct 2020]

That is one of the softest reds I've seen, he brushes his chin and he goes down like he's just been garroted.

I know Martial shouldn't have reacted but Lamela did far worse.

Not really the cause of the dreadful performance either way though.

Needed this result to happen a few weeks ago so there was time to do something about it.

Although given how awful the existing defenders are, they could probably do worse than picking up some EFL players in the domestic window in the next couple of weeks and giving em a go. Nothing to lose.

The problem is other transfer targets will see games and results like this and think , why the hell would I want to move to man utd

We haven't been a team that is attractive as a footballing proposition for a long time so we attract players coming for the money. Any top player that comes here will be doing it purely for the money. We've ****** our wage structure up over the past 7 years, build a team of players with the back bone of a jellyfish and hired a manager who is basically Tim Nice But Dim.

Is calling them "Latin" ok?!
I don't see why he actually referenced that myself, I can see him getting into bother for it.

Maybe he was trying to imply all Latin players make most of something? Either way still wrong and pointless for him to reference.

The red itself is a joke, I'm surprised var didn't look at what spurs player did prior.

That being said martial been in league long enough to know not to react.

Souness is right in sense both should be off if your gonna go down route of sending just one off

He's a number 10. Yes it would be great if he was a great defender too but you accept he's not if he's doing his main job of creating and scoring. Utd need better players behind him to cover his shortcomings.

He doesnt have to defend as such just stop losing the ball constantly would be a start. More then a 5th of united losing possession was him. 12 times.

Omnom, this is as silly as the people that point out how many times Trent gives the ball away. Players that play lots of attacking, creative passes will give the ball away lots. His job is to play those high risk passes, he's going to give the ball away. There's absolutely no getting away from it.
