Greenlizard0 Premier League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [16th - 18th September 2023]

Mike Dean, this man is a joke, defo no pen, 10 secs later, its a pen, 20 secs later defo no pen. Var says pen. No wonder Var is such a mess with this lot on it

Is there seriously no Utd fans on here who are now doubting ETH?
Why? Highest win % of any manager since Fergie. He never gets his full first team available for more than a couple of games, it seems. Had no striker for most of last season. Had loads of off-pitch issues. Doing alright, all things considered. Does make the odd weird decision in game though.

Think everyone gets a little OTT these days. It’s been 5 games. Shiz happens.

Say we get rid of ETH, then what? Same players, same issues...

Youre right won't make a jot of a difference.

Start with getting people who actually care about the football side of things at the top?

An actual football director with a clue, not an investment banker who'd rather go on a tour of America than do some actual pre season - even LvG moaned about this.

Then start signing players in positions that you actually need, and get them early?

Obviously none of this will happen with the current mob in charge. The only positives are that the fans are finally seeing it and are behind ETH. The difficult comes from the era we are in with SM and trolling - i.e paddy power tweeting Joel Glazer should have tracked that run.

Surely most people seen this as a Brighton win? I just had look at the prediction game on here, loads of people thought it. It's no longer a surprise they're getting beat at home, it's now expected. That's the difference. They're a mid table club now (well, have been for a few years now).
