its a Nasty challenge that’s 9 times out of 10 going to cause an injury, as you say though it’s a yellow but a nasty yellow. TBH I’m all for turning any yellow card into a sin bin

It's not a nasty challenge, it's top of the foot to shin, and will happen every single match. If you want to get rid of those you basically have to ban slide tackles.
