Greenlizard0 Premier League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [4th - 6th January 2025]

Wow, one of the most tense games I've seen (at least it felt like it)

That was generally a brilliant performance up against the best team in the world on form.

How many teams go to Anfield and square up Liverpool like that...

Huge result for Amorim and his system, it looked like it was working quite well.

Gutted about the performance and Slots refusal to take Galactico off more than the draw which is the most we deserved.

We’re sorted with Bradley at right back until the summer but we should cash in on Trent and get a left back ASAP.

Cash in on Nunez too, zero impact again off the bench which is where he usually shines with the chaos he brings.

Pretty poor from us today, but games between the 2 teams can go like this. Lost count of the amount of times we would beat them when we were crap in the 90's/early 2000's

I’ve no idea what it is about this game but we either batter Utd or play our worst football of the season, there’s never any in between.

Trent was terrible but he wasn’t the only one. Diaz, Jones and Konate weren’t far behind him.

Dreadful match for me, both sides all over the shop. Yes it was entertaining but the standard was awful bar two good finishes. Maybe the weather played apart but it was like a cup game between a PL team and a potential giant killer.

Worst performance of the season with a couple of dreadful individual performances from Liverpool

A decent striker would have taken the shot!

From this position? He's got a man directly in front of him and the keeper lining him up, and a narrow angle. He'd have been crucified for shooting, it would have been a terrible decision.
