Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [10th - 14th January 2020]

Ok yeah right lol United have had obvious pens not given this season as well but I'll give you some of the pens I wouldn't have given myself lol
Yeah right? You think Utd have had more than twice as many good penalty appeals as any other side in the League? I'm not saying Utd couldn't have had 9 penalties or even more but there's no way that no other side has had similar amounts of good shouts, let alone 50% as many? Utd have clearly been given a far higher percentage of marginal calls than other sides.

We've got a quick team that often plays on the counter, remarkable thing is we should have had more. Martial not given one today because he tried to stay on his feet.
See above.
It amazes me liverpool 13 points clear at top yet theyre still on about united
And I got accused of being salty? You seem awfully defensive over a very innocent point being made.

Weren't you complaining about a handball not being given against Liverpool when there was no handball at all? We're 24 points ahead of you with 2 games in hand, leave your desperate comments to sides closer to you, like Norwich in 20th.

Wouldn't mind seeing more of Gomes, some positive passes which aren't difficult but what we have been lacking.

Mata is always quality.

Greenwood gets another goal, got a decent left foot on him.

The wheels have truly come off now. We have been absolutely ***** at home. Just not good enough.
This all started when you predicted Watford to win at Anfield. It's all on you.

edit: and Southampton are such a weird team. They go through spells of being complete and utter **** and then put in some incredible performances, usually against the best sides in the League.

13 points from our last 5 games. I think a 9 goal embarrassment was the kick up the arse they needed to start putting the effort in as a team.

Ings, Long and Ward Prowse are the only three IMO who can hold their heads up as giving 100% all season and Ings is the only one who has managed to deliver some end product consistently.

Since that Leicester game I think it finally started to dawn on them they were at real risk of relegation and that their dream big money moves to Big 6 clubs might not materialise if they have a reputation as crap and lazy. Those moves happen when you help your small club achieve 'big club' results.
